Hello, my dears! I am all married up now, and ready to get back to work! I am at W3 D2 as of last week, so I am going to continue and catch up in a week or so. I couldn't find week 4 anywhere, so I didn't read how everyone else did. My wedding went perfectly, everyone got along, nobody fell down, or threw up, I'm glad to say.
Can we run every day, or do we need to rest in between?
Kerri I'm catching up too...LOL! I'm starting week 4 today!
Congrats on the wedding! Isn't it amazing....all the planning and details and work to get ready for it and then BAM it is over in like 30 minutes and the reception just flys by....then next thing you know your back from the Honeymoon and to the real world...LOL!
I did Week 3 Day 1 on Monday, and Week 3 Day 2 this morning. And I have to say ... it's starting to feel good finally. Not good as in glad I got the exercise in, but good as in fun, as in, "Oh hey, tomorrow morning is running day. Yay!"
Running 3 minutes is hard, but running for 60 seconds in week 1 was much harder.

I hear ya! By day 3 week 3 I could run the 3 min fairly easy. I'm not looking forward to running 5 min....but we will see....at least it should make the 3 min seem easy! LOL!
Hey Melissa & all of you ladies that are sticking it out! I bailed before the challenge even started. Lame excuse, but basically I don't like my running form on the treadmill. I just feel like I'm stomping the thing to death. Plus I become clock-obsessed trying to time the intervals. I really wanted to start the program using the podcasts, but I don't have an ipod or mp3 player.
Sooooooooooooo, I finally downloaded the podcasts and burned week 1 on a CD and got out my old walkman-style CD player. I started week 1 day 1 today, at the track. It was awesome! My shins aren't bothering me at all (my left hip is, but hopefully it'll be better by Friday).
So, for those of you who haven't started yet, you still can!! Good luck!
Havn't got to do week five yet.. and doubt I will. I'm staying with my fiance's family for a bit until the wedding ( just the one on paper) before he's deployed. I'm gonna duff back in once i'm in a stable location. Living ona pull out couch in a 1 bedrom apt in NY right now and running around like crazy trying to meet his family/take care of his 4 yr old brother and plan a wedding/iving arrangments for while he's deployed.
Week five sounds scary.. but I will be duffing on back on week four as soon as i'm back on track here. I hate that im not on schedule cause I dont wanna miss out on the threads! hehe
Glad everyone is keeping at it.. and I hope to catch up soon!
ps.. Melissa... too bad i'm not as close as we had hoped! I' all about meeting up someday though! We can run our five k together when we finish! hehe
Although, your idea of shopping sounds a million times better! lol
fauxtini ~ Nashville is about halfway between us...they have a music city marathon there once a year...I say one year we meet up and we can stay in the Opryland Hotel (very nice but also very expensive...LOL) and run a marathon together!
I couldn't get past week 4...but I'm still trying.
I did week 4, day 1 on Monday. The knee pain came back a little, so I'm crossing everything I have that tomorrow (day 2) won't be bad. I'm loving running for a longer times. Stupid knee.
