ENY ~ Thanks for the motivation and needing me! WOW that is a huge weight loss all together!!! We can do it! Heck yeah!

Freethetoys ~ It is a Couch to 5 K plan and we usually abriviate it C25K. It is a 9 week program to get you jogging 3 miles in 30 minutes. here is the link

Heather ~ Check with Eny on the weigh ins. I'm weiging in on Fridays because the challenge ultimately ends on Friday...but you will PM Eny on your weigh ins and she is gonna keep up with everyone's losses and post them...I think she is gonna update the weights on Saturdays so you would need to PM her by late Friday probably! And if you miss two weigh in's your dropped from the challenge...so weigh in even if you didn't lose or even if you gained don't forget to weigh in!!!!....10 lbs is TOTALLY doable...that is only 5 lbs a month!

You can do it!

I thought the weight was very doable. Its not too much, and you said to make mini goals so thats a mini goal.

Heather - the first weigh in is from 9/6-9/12. You can weigh in any of those days. I will post the updates on the 13th. You DO NOT post another weigh in this week. I'm giving people a week to join us!

Progress so far:
6 days of 15 mins or more exercise in a row - and realllly starting to feel it in muscles I forgot I had!, 3 days on food plan (Linking and balancing per the IR Diet) - I just had a blood sugar of 105!!!, 3 days of drinking 48 oz of water minimum - and I drank almost all of it at work today so no need to chug 16 oz before bed!

I walked for another 20 minutes. I tried to do stepping, but my hip wouldn't take it. I am back on the exercise wagon. Catch ya all later. Pat

Eny - No prob....just hope I don't get anything wrong

Heather - No ....your 10 lb goal is good....it is realistic...and just think if you surpass it how good you'll feel that you beat your goal...and if you meet it that is still good too!!! I think keeping your goals realistic is really important because if you get disappointed from unrealistic goals your more likely to quit....good job!

My left hip is a bit achy, but tomorrow I'll just walk the dog. Hopefully by Friday I'll be ready for day 2 of the c25k program!

Eny-Thanks for clearing that up, I was a little confused. I will probably wait until Mon to post. Im trying not to weight myself too much so I dont get discouraged.

Melissa- Yeah, Im tryin to make those little goals, I dont want to discourage myself anymore than I already am getting. I just wanna lose a freakin pound, ya know? Just something to get me going.

Does anyone mind if I join too? I know its really late but i just came across this thread and its totally motivated me! My current weight is 159.5, and i'd like to lose 6 pounds by Halloween! This is in line with my weightwatchers group who are doing a "pound a week by the october bank holiday" challenge which is a total of 8 pounds, and i lost 2 this week so im down to 6! i know this doesnt sound like a lot but the weight just doesnt want to leave me so 6 is a big challenge!

My first weigh in will be on tuesday at my meeting, and wednesdays after that!

( PS ENY is it too late to do the quiz? i really want that cat! )

Lucy - I've added you to the roster!

Irish Rover - YOu've also been added! This is what I consider "sign up week" We're starting weekly weighs on the 6th (see my post on page 3 for further explanation. )

Oh - and It's NOT too late to get your I'm going to try to get a new quiz up every Monday (with a new "sticker") It keeps me entertained. So if you want the make sure you PM me your answers by SUNDAY!!!

On a whole separate note - I'm on day 4 of being COMPLETELY on Plan!!! After I started this challenge I gained #2.2 - and so far I've lost that and #.2... so at least I can post a loss for then beginning next week!!!

Alright - off to work for me.. I'll check back later!

GREAT JOB Luna! I remember that the first 2 weeks of school were ALWAYS my #5 weeks! I would gain #5 those 2 weeks, and then would eventually lose about #3 of them throughout the semester...(you can do the math! :lol) the fact you've stayed strong is AWESOME!!!

Pat - I did week one day 2 this morning! and the total of pushups was: 65! where are you at?

I have Big plans for this challenge! So everyone needs to KEEP IT UP!!!
