I bet tomorrow will be lower! Tomorrow is 10 week weigh in - so far - 18 lbs. Woohoo! Can't wait to make it 20!!

Wow - I go away for two weeks and you gals go from #17 to #21!!!

Anyway, I have been in Portugal for two weeks and have eaten my head off. I came home yesterday and faced the scales this morning. I hoped I wouldn't have put on any more than half a stone (7 lbs) and I somehow managed to only put on 6 lbs!! So I am actually quite pleased with that - less would have been nice but at least it wasn't more.

And I have a history of losing vacation weight super quick. In March we went to London and I put on 4 lbs in 4 days. 3 days later I was LESS than I was before we went away. So I'm hoping this will be gone this time next week.

So . . .

SW: 152.5
CW: 152.5
GW: 147.5

I haven't read all the threads since I've been away though although I will read this one. I have several online communities I need to get back up to date with and it's taking forever.

So I went to my pizza party and I had two slices of supreme but I didn't eat the crust. It was sooooo yummy! I could have sat there and ate 2 or 3 more slices....the "other" me would have but the new me stopped at 2!!! I still was down just a tad this morning!!

Finally!! My hard work has proven something! After going up two pounds, I finally am down.

sw:284.8
cw:283.2 ( much better than the random jump to 286.6 of two days ago!)
gw:279.8

fauxtini - see.....it told you it would come! I bet you built some major muscle and that is why you gained weight and because you didn't stop that muscle started burning some fat!!!

jessicaca - see.....you shocked your body and your high metabolism and muscle kicked in and burned some butter!!!! LOL


I'm still down to 239 today! I'm cool with it! TOM is here so I expected a gain today but I was the same! I worked my butt off yesterday!

I popped up a half pound again! I'm within a couple of days of TOM, so that may be why.

Yay Vik on the 35 pound mark!! I'm a pound away from reaching the 30 pound mark myself.. I can't wait to get to the 35! Awesome job!

Melissa: That's a feat to stay even during TOM. You really musta worked out like crazy yesterday. I always go up a bunch of pounds at that time.

I went to a party last night with old work friends from my last job. It was sucha great time to catch up with them and the biggest feat was that I wasn't even tempted to eat all the BBQ goodies. I brought my own stuff and I stuck to it and it wasn't even hard! I didn't even catch myself zoning out staring at the cupcakes! That's a miracle if you ask me. lol
I only had a couple of drinks ( all of which were pre calculated before going.) Planning really does make a difference in your choices!
