Well, I've been off the boards for a week because I was really struggling. I started Saturday off fantastically with a new low - 185.8, and then promptly splurged that day and have been feeling like I've done nothing but fall off the wagon since. So I avoided my scale for a few days, expecting the worst, and I got on today and was 185.8.

Obviously I'd prefer to have dropped, but frankly I was expecting to be up 2-3 pounds, so to have stayed steady feels fantastic. It really shows you how much is mind over matter, though, because I was feeling puffy and bloated all week imagining how bad my weight was going to be and now I feel great.

A mini victory: I bought a pair of really nice trousers from Banana Republic ages ago, and they've always been tight on me. Today I put them on, they fit perfectly and I could put both of my hands down the front with very little pulling or tightness (no dirty thoughts. lol.). I was thrilled. They just look right - no pulling, no stretching, no bulging. And I'm going for two job interviews, so I'll feel really confident in them.

Sorry for the rant, it's just been a hard week.

SW: 185.8
CW: 185.8
GW: 180.8

Vik!! High five on the trouser success I love putting clothes on and they fit GOOD now! Its a good way to start the day!!

Yay for the 240s forabetterlife!! I cant wait till my next new 10 pound interval

I didn't weigh in this morning. I got up at the crack of dawn, swam laps for an hour and walked 6k ( ish ) 2 hours of working out and im happy with myself!

The scale better not let me down like it has been lately. I have been working HARD all week and eating OP. I might have to start modifying some stuff soon but I don't wanna!

Hey there you are! I've been wondering where you were????!!!!

I'm glad to hear about your new low weight and the trousers!!!

I'm glad you didn't gain any weight! I remember a few 5 lb challenges ago when you were in the 190's and in no time your gonna hit the 170's!!!

Keep on keepin' on!!! And don't you leave us again... LOL

You and me both, babe! I'm determined. I've got 9 days before I see my sweetie again and I'm sure I can hit 160. It might not show much difference but I'll know it's there.

Thanks! In a weird way, it almost feels better to actually be able to fit into your own clothes than to buy new ones. It feels like you've somehow won a victory over the pants. lol.

I know I should be using this board for support, but sometimes I don't feel like facing all of you guys when I've been "bad". Not because of you, just because I feel like I've failed and don't want to admit it. I know - my biggest fear was the thought of seeing a 1-9 again. It's just a mental thing.

No, ma'am -- and great work yourself! Hopefully in no time flat you'll see a 2-3. You've been doing really well, and thank you for being such a great cheerleader for myself and everyone else on these boards.

Hee. No reason...

And OMG - you're almost 75% of the way to your goal! Congratulations!
