Well, I didn't "get'er done" last night. I planned to do Pilates but watched a Yoga video instead. Yes, watched the video so I'll be familiar with it when I go to do it. Oh, these foolish games I play with me. I think I'm a cardio junkie. How about cybering some motivation this way Aud & MM?

What's your song for the day? The first thing that came to me was "Pour Some Sugar on Me..." probably 'cause I'm trying to cut back on the white stuff!!!

Mtiger, tiny waist is definitely never a problem, although it sounds like it makes it very hard to find pants that fit. I carry weight in my gut and my butt!

Grazer, I agree with the self-sabotage, I am so definitely my worst enemy!

Nmichelle, glad to hear she has the chance to get the help she needs. Sounds like you and DH had fun too!

JC and Aud, good luck with the union vote/election issues. Pulling for ya!

Happy Tuesday. Almost into May, can't believe it!
I drank all 4 L of water yesterday!

W 4 again
E just did 90 upper, 90 lower and 20 push ups and Jillian's Shred 1, will walk at lunch if the rain stops, if not, elliptical tonight while I watch Wheel & Jeopardy
E OP
D I can do this, one OP day at a time!!

DEF LEPPARD

"Pour Some Sugar On Me"

Step inside, walk this way
You and me babe, Hey, hey!

Love is like a bomb, baby, c'mon get it on
Livin' like a lover with a radar phone
Lookin' like a tramp, like a video vamp
Demolition woman, can I be your man?
Razzle 'n' a dazzle 'n' a flash a little light
Television lover, baby, go all night
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss ah innocent sugar me, yeah

Hey!
C'mon, take a bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up

Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
Oh, I can't get enough

I'm hot, sticky sweet
From my head to my feet yeah

Listen! red light, yellow light, green-a-light go!
Crazy little woman in a one man show
Mirror queen, mannequin, rhythm of love
Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up

You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little
Tease a little more
Easy operator come a knockin' on my door
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah

Take a bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up

Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
Oh, I can't get enough

I'm hot, sticky sweet
From my head to my feet yeah

[guitar solo]

You got the peaches, I got the cream
Sweet to taste, saccharine
'Cos I'm hot, say what, sticky sweet
From my head, my head, to my feet

Do you take sugar? one lump or two?

Take a bottle, shake it up
Break the bubble, break it up

Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
Oh, I can't get enough
Pour some sugar on me
Oh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
Get it, come get it
Pour your sugar on me
Ooh
Pour some sugar on me
Yeah! Sugar me!

Morning my Pals! Okay good nights sleep under my belt. Scale is up 2 pounds but I am blaming TOM for that. I'll be getting back on my bike here soon and getting in a GOOD workout. I cant wait.

This contract really stinks for all of the new hires (there are approx 50 of us) but is okay if you have been there for over 3 years wage wise. Insurance is okay, it stays the same for this year then our cost goes up 1 percent a year for 2010, `11. I hate to have my insurance increase for the immediate pay raise. Which I believe will happen. If we demand an immediate pay raise, we will get it and our insurance will go up. I am almost positive. I only know what has happened with other companies and other peoples experiences so I could be wrong.

I am probably going to miss Tommy's swim lesson today because of the Vote so DH will have to go. My crew wants to go out for a drink afterwards, but I hate to miss Mak's swim lesson too. DH says to go, but we will see.

Short Sports is over so only have to go to the Y 3 times a week all of May Mak will do swimming, Tommy will do baby runners both at the same time Tempted to sign Tommy up for baby sports but that does put us there m-f. Mak is still in gymnastics but thinking of signing her up for the next session of dance (at our local dance school). She is also interested in tryin Karate. Luckily I have a couple of good friends who are black belts and they will get us in the right direction for that (IF I DECIDE TO LET HER!!!)

Once Kindergarten starts we are going to have to cut back on things so she doesn't get burned out. I am not willing to give up swimming until she can swim across the pool by herself. (the next level). I have a feeling we will be in swimming at least through the end of kindergarten. I like having her involved, but I don't want to over-do it for her.

OKAY I plan on :

W 120 oz
E 30cardio/weights/ stretching
E1200 cals
D house work, play with the kids, go for a walk in between rain drops

Aud you took me back to middle school love that song

Def Leppard just played a Casino 20 minutes from my house. We had the kids so no go for us but HELLO 80's! Saw Sammy Hagar there a year or so ago! I love the morning music wake up girls!

I stayed with the Sugar theme and plugged in the Rolling Stones "Brown Sugar" and blasted it all the way to work! Ah..... Brown Sugar... how come ya taste so good!!!!

Whoo! I needed you girls this morning! Glad we have each other!

Okay personals...

MTIGER- Ah... the battle of the pants. I have a full blown bubble butt. In order to find pants that fit over it, it means I have a monster gap at the waist. Usually leaves anyone sitting behind me looking down my "Y". Lets do the 5 to 7 lbs one at a time!

Nchelle -hotel rooms DO feel like vacation. I've thought about staying at the Hampton down the street just to get a vacation from my family And in gambling news.... there's a casino across the river in Havasu! I think we are headed there Sunday!!! I'll be a the Wheel of Fortune machines, don't have the cajones to play poker.

Jcat - I get to deal with negotiations for our managment group and they are sticky. They always come prepared with a throw away item that they are willing to give up, but alway seem to be sure that the hard choices are left on the employees.... "$ now or insurance later". I started here 6 months too late for lifetime medical (FOOEY). We are in budget **** at the moment and there is no cash moving to anyone. We are begging for Alternative work schedules and may even get shtooped on that. Good Luck with yours!

Mmavis - You Go Girl!

Grazer -small confession - I like this thread and having the small group WAY better then the TBL chaos thats happening. I'm staying in the challenge but how do you get to know anything or anyone with so many posts? Just my thoughts.

Aud - Rock it! Yeah!

Mmavis - Almost May??? Crud! I haven't completed all my MMunches for the month and now will have to start again!!! Thanks for the warning of the new month! I need to get it together TODAY!!

Still missing WEEDers! Hope you are all doing well and WISH you would pop back in to let us know your okay! You know who you are!

TTYL girlies!

Definately hear ya HolyT! Same ole pounds come and go as they please I want them gone!!!

Got in my workout and I worked it hard. I'm gonna do some housework now so I keep on moving, then I think the kiddos and I will go for a walk. I am pleasantly suprised that the downpour/showery day has not happened. Instead beautiful blue sky with an appearance or two of a white puffy cloud. I'm thinking of taking the kids out for my 5k walk after noon. That will be a nice hour plus long walk. DH will come home about 2 (since I have no sitter for the meeting.) Then I might walk the mile to the union hall. Then catch a ride home with one of the guys I work with (If I decide to go for a beer).

Yesterday was good! I did all of my tracking on fitday, and I thought I totally blew it last night! After dinner I had to eat a snack to take my pills (I have to eat with 'em around 9pm), and i had peanut butter filled pretzels w/ my BF on the couch. It was cozy and snuggly and wonderful!

But when I entered the info into fitday this morning... low and behold... I actually came in at 1300 cal on the dot! WOOO HOOOOO!!!

I didn't do the gym yesterday - personal trainer was sick and I felt like a pile of poo. So I rested instead, and I feel a bit better today. 45 min of cardio tonight for sure! And trainer is Wednesday afternoon so that's awesome! I can't WAIT!!!

Only downside right now is my water. I just don't want to drink water anymore... I think I'm gonna have to start adding lemon/lime juice to it every morning.

So today's WEED stuff...

W - at least 64 oz
E - 45 min cardio, dang it!
E - 1300-1400 cal, again. MORE PROTEIN!
D - something...?

Jkitty: when i have those days I take slices of a couple of strawberries, a few slices of apple, lime, lemon, orange, and fresh sprigs of mint and pack it in a pitcher with ice, then fill with water. The light taste of the fruit helps get it down.

everyone!

Suffering from a exercise hangover. Haven't heard anything back about the job yet. I was right, TOM screwed me over. I'm back up to my starting weight. Boo-hoo. It's a new week and I've started it off right. Let's hope I finish it right. Lots of cardio and water aerobics today. Kinda sleepy now.

NixM- I hear ya about the TBL Challenge. I'm hoping things settle. I prefer a smaller group too. For me, it feels more supported and I feel more connected even when I don't always have time for personals.

Holy and JCat- hang in there. I can't seem to get out of the 160s- been there for months.

Aud- thanks for the song lyrics.

JL- Good luck with the exercise hangover. Hang in there- TOM weight will disappear!

I've been eating well today and got lots of fluids. On my way now to do some Turbo Jam and hopefully strength training. I'll try to check in later!

JKit- Glad to see you had a good day.

MM- I like your "D" for the day

Wink

I am having a hard time getting to my postings today. It has been a busy day. Things suck at school, the new scale is just as damned weird as the old one, so I'm all confused now. Anyway, I ate good today, walked 40 min. with friend and am getting ready for American Idol.

Don't really have time for personals, so let me just send a huge
and a . Summer is a comin' and we have to get our butts in gear. Iced tea, pools, shorts . Oh my!!
Good luck to everyone and their personal goals. Some of you are working your tails off MMunches and crunches and pushups and crap like that. Hey, GOOD FOR YOU!!

I'll try to get more personal tom. Gotta run, my show is coming on. TATA.

Morning ladies. If there are more than the normal gramatical/spelling errors please forgive me I am running on very little sleep. Tommy is coughing again and I had a headache (to many margaritas) So yesterdays great asperations of walking everywhere was halted when DH came home early and I visited too long. Then I ended up having to go to the bank before the union meeting. The contract was voter overwhelmingly no (74-14) so now I am really nervous. Our insurance I bet will go up to 15 percent then we get our hourly raises we wanted. WE'll see.

DH took tommy to Mommy and me swimming, they were in the pool all of 15 minutes (Tommy was done) That has been Tommy's trend these days. So I am not wasting the money to do it again. Makenna!! Yesterday was her test day and she did awsome! it was her first day without the kickboard and she nailed it! She swam 10 yards breast stroke!!! Back stroke shes been able to do but she got to 12 yards! I am proud of her. I hope one more session at this level and we move up! I can handle two since the next session is a 4 day a week session.

Except for the couple of margarita's I had I was on target yesterday with everything but water and walking. Today will be a breeze since it is a work day:
W 64 oz
E extra laps/extra stairs
E 1200
D Have a good day.
