Okay I keep forgetting to update mypoints!! I had 7 for each day on the 10th - 12th so 21 total for the past few days which brings me to 168!!

Beaut, I believe the 18th of May. It the date needs to be adjusted, that is fine I might not make the 20 pounds by May at this rate. These last 15 pounds are coming off soo slow. I might bump it back and just buy a bikini when I get to my goal weight. Ok...I see. IT seems like you have some high point things coming up. That is good that you are saving up then lol. I just need to STOP going out to eat, drinking and such...I really don't have the money. THis point system is helping me financially too

I had a rough night lastnight. I had just called Steve and my roommate Kym beeped in (she lives just across the hall). I answered it, and at first I thought she was just being goofy. I could barly hear her. Then I heard a help. I hung up on Steve and ran across the hall. She was soo pale and could barly focus. She had been feeling tired a bit dizzy earlier that day, but she was laying there in bed and the dizziness not really bad and she started feeling the bed moving and falling into small peices (is how she explained it). She was also seeing double. I called my mom's friend who is a nurse and she suggested we needed to take her in right away. So, around 9:30 lastnight we made a trip to the ER. We finally got out of there around 1:00 A.M., and Kym seems to be doing a lot better today. The only thing they could figure out lastnight is she took a sleeping pill that somtimes causes hallucinations. They couldn't figure out what was going on with her dizziness and headaches. They gave her a water IV and she started feelign better from that. so they think she was a little dehydrated. She had been sick earlier this year...for months. She was sick to the stomache and dizzy for about 4 months, and she went to all sorts of specialists and they couldn't figure out what was going on. She got into a car accident last year (a pretty bad on...head injury and concussion), and they think it has to be related to that. There is just so much they don't understand about the working of the brain. So...anyway she seems to be doing better today.

Anyway, so I was up late lastnight, so I decided not to take a subbing job today. I have plenty to do to keep me busy though. I still am not unpacked from last week...need to put away my clothes.

I am planning on heading to the gym earlier this afternoon...sometime after lunch. I want to go shopping this evening with a friend.

Well, yesterday went well. I hit a 9 point day I worked out for about an hour and a half. My diet went really well too. I should hopully shed another pound or two by Monday. I am tring to figure out what I am going to do all next week...it is Spring break so I'll be going home. I can stick to my diet, but I won't have a gym. I might just try joining the town gym for just a week...maybe they have some kind of deal going on. We'll see.

Tessa, I am sorry you had a rough night. I am glad your roommate is ok.

I had a great workout today - my HR monitor says I burned 1137 calories. I stayed on my eating plan, too, so 9 points for today.

Ward, WOW! Is this at the gym or calories burned all day??? WTG! So, do you have any special plans for this weekend?


Good morning...well, at least I hope it is good.

I had a rough time getting to sleep, but that is just because I was up so late the night before going to the ER with Kym. I probably got a good 6 1/2....which I know is more than many people get on a normal night. I am one that always tries for 8 though

I've got a job today...3rd and 4th grade. It has been awhile sense I've subbed in a regular education classroom. Kind of looking forward to it. The kids are going to be crazy though...it is the Friday before Spring break...no school all next week.

I am doing nothing too special...going home on Sunday. I am taking Kym to the airport early Saturday (she is going to Georgia for the week). My parents are meeting my brother and myself for church and lunch on Sunday...so I'll follow them home (they are snowbirds...fly South for Winter...they are just getting back).

One plan I have is try to figure out what I am doing after August or earlier. I might get a subleaser for the house in Iowa City (if we fall into one that my roommate Kym is comfortable with) so I can move to Dubuque as early as possible to be with Steve, but he still doesn't have a place of his own yet. I just really need to talk to him...so many nice places are showing right now...I could hate to have to wait until last minute and then get something crappy. I really don't know what I am going to be doing...I hate that. My money is so tight right now...I wish I knew if I was going to have to get a place of my own or not. Ug!

So...yesterday I did another 3 point exercise day...and 5 points for eating. 8 total...ummmm only 5 because lastnight I ended up going to pizza hut for supper. OPPS! I just am horrible at not eating out. It is hard when so many social things focus around going out to eat. So...that is minus 20... let's see.

I need to write this down now...lol, I am a bit behind...

Monday I was at 27 points by the end of the day...good start

Tuesday= + 8 for good day= 35

Wednesday + 9 = 44

Thursday + 8= 52 pts THEN - 20 for pizza hut= 32 pts. Ok...that doesn't seem as bad. 32 is a workable number.

Also, I am planning on going out for lunch with my parents on Sunday. My goal is to order healthy though...I do have the points saved up though if I need to.



Ok...I need to start getting ready for my day. I hope you gals have a great one!

I thought it was the 18th but I noticed your sig said may 12th! You can still lose the weight by then. How many weeks do we have? How's your friend doing? That sounds scary!! That is very similar to what happened to me a few weeks ago when I took that laxative!!

You guys are doing well with your 9 and 10 point days!! I hope to be back up to 8 point days next week when I finish phase 1 of fat smash! For now you are only suppose to work out 30 min a day and then increase by 10 and then 25 % So I am trying not to push myself on purpose so I will have something to work towards. Anyways either way I have been doing the plan for 7 days and lost 7 lbs so I'm happy!

As for my points 7 for yesterday so 175. Tonight is DH's b-day so I made a cake and am planning to have soem but I am compensating for it and including it in my plan.

Tessa you are going to move to Dubuque? Are you planning to teach there too?

Wow, 7 pounds in 7 days. Maybe I should check that fat smash diet out!

Yes, that was my calorie burn in about two hours at the gym. LOL. Today I did 30 min on the elliptical, 15 min on the bike, and a Group Power class. I also stayed on my eating plan, so 9 points for today.

Total: 129

I was down to 146.2 this morning - I am thrilled with that!

Well I was not good the last 2 days!! I ate cake on Friday and Saturday!! I'm annoyed with myself!! So for points I am not giving myself any for food and only 1 for exercise on saturday! points : 176

I basically didn't lose anymore over the weekend cause of the stupid cake so now it is 7 lbs in 9 days but TOM also arrived so I may be retaining! I hope to see a loss tomorrow! But who knows what TOM will do!

If you are interested there is a fat smash forum on 3FC and there is another version called extreme fat smash but it is less extreme ! Strange that they call it that, anyways it is for people who have 10-25 lbs to lose specifically and it is a 3 week program where you lose 12 lbs I think. something like that.

I will have to check that out. I think I have just about three weeks until we go to Disney.

Yesterday I had a two hour workout and stayed on my plan, so 10 points. However, I bought a new bag and a new pair of shoes.

So, 139 - 40 = 99 points remaining.

Ward: Did you look into Fat smash? Tell us about the bag and the shoes? Funny my last reward was a bag but I am still waiting for it to arrive and now I am working towards a new pair of shoes!

The bag and shoes aren't too exciting, I bought them both for Disney. I wanted shoes that are comfortable, but not necessarily sneakers, you know? So I bought these -



And the bag is a hobo bag to carry all of our water, snacks, etc. in -



I still haven't looked into the fat smash. Maybe today or tomorrow when my son is in pre-school. When both kids are home it's just chaos around here.

yesterday was horrible. I had cake for breakfast and cookies for dinner but I had a good lunch and a good snack so 2 points. and I worked out for 1.5 hours (partially to make up for the cookies!) so 3 points for that so my total is 189

Well, I am sick again. I can't believe it - I never get sick and this is the third time in two months. Come on, spring!

I worked out on Monday (3 pts.) and ate two meals before I started feeling bad. Yesterday I barely ate or moved. Today I am planning to take it easy again.

I have been good the past 2 days so 8 points each: total 205

However I am stuck!! I basically am not losing!! I am losing my motivation. I feel like if i stay on plan and nothing happens then why bother!! I guess it's TOM but it is still driving me crazy! I'm so tempted to go eat cake or cookies or worse!! This happens to me every month!!
