Lightbulb 7 Day, Metabolism Wake Up Callenge.

HEY GUYS

I have been having a rough time trying to get my metabolsm to accept im on a iet the last few weeks so im shang things up this week. Its gonna be tough as i have 2 essays and presentaion this week but im gonna try REALLY HARD.
I hoing it will shake up my weightloss for valentines day also.

so here are my personal goals
work out 3 times (ever other day) i just done a run around the park, so next one will be tuesday .
eat no more then 1400cals on workout days and no more then 1300 on non work out days
watch carbs, pasta and fat intake. i aways eat food under cals but not nessecirily under allowed fat and carbs.

I will endevour to be in here everyday typing how its going.
if anyone wants to join and set 3 rules for them selves they are more then welcome.

hopefully this time next sunday iwill be reporting a 2lb loss.

ok so after effects of working out are good. i have been getting on with work, done some revision started an essay, and im now getting ready to go for a 2 mile walk to a freidns house to collect a book. STAYING POSITIVE BABY"

Hello! It looks like you have already lost a lot of weight. Congrats! I know a good shake up is good sometimes. The body needs to be kept guessing. You can do this!

For me, I need to lose 1 pound by the end of this month. So I am going to shake some things up.

1. No carbs other than non-starchy veggies past 3:00p.m. until I loose the 1 pound.

2. Keep walking with my kids everyday.

3. Keep my calories in check.

day 2: weight the same
my legs hurt this morn after the run yesterday, gonna need pain killers today.i have got a busy day today, 3.5 mile walk to and form uni, a rehearsal, and 5 hours of work to do this afternoon evening.but id rather be working at home then running around between unis again! so well good luck mum 2 hope your day is successful :-)

im having a bad emotional day i have to work out tommorow and im worriedabout it and my body, i had really saw legs after yesterdays run. which is a shame. i dont really wanna swim tommorow cause the only time to go is 7am, and i have a busy day yincluding a 2 hour rehearsal (which is draining) so i can either do my workout dvd, which is great but it means im prob gonna wake up my boyf who is an insomniac and needs to sleep in the day when hes off (like tommorow) so i guess my onlt real choice is to go for a run, but i dont wanna hurt my legs again ARGH!
round and round. I just wanna loose a lb its so dperessing. 2 weeks of eating good, exercising and no loss.......

day 3) doing well with cals and exercise up to this rmoning where my legs hurt so much from the run on sunday i still couldent bring myself to go for aother one.
also i know i should NOT weigh myself everyday, but i did finally break a barrier today 1lb down, and im on the otherside of 12 stone YAY. still need to push out another before the end of the week.
tommorow is oing to be hard because my parents are coming down, and i have to cook a curry for them.oh no..... Its SHAME THEY ARE NOT LEAVING UNTILL 8 BECAUSE I COULD go swimming at 7 as the pool has a ladies only hour. but alas thursday i will do some exercise.! I WILL DAMMIT.

Congrats on the pound lost.

I also got down another pound. That's 10 pounds down for me this month.

Good luck on loosing another pound. It sounds like you are doing good on your exercise. Have a good day.

day 3: well i had a good day yesterday, the pound loss helped my mood feel good. i ended up walking 8 miles yesterday so even though i could not run swim i think i stil did enough walking to loose some cals.
Today i got up at 6:50am and went for a swim i did 35 lengths, 7 more then last time. I could have done more, but i didnt wanna push it too hard because i have a busy day again. my mum and dad are down today with my brother i never see, so it will be nice to see them all, but im gona have to allow myself up to 1500 so i can have an enjoyable curry with them (homemade) and maybe a small glass of wine.

i like the idea of money towards a new wardrobe mum2, congrats on the 10lbs. only one left this week now for both of us.... :-)

Hello! I hope you have a good visit. Actually, I made my goal for this month, which was 195 pounds. I got on the scale this morning and lost another 1/2 pound. I can't wait to go spend my $ on a new wardrobe. Have a good day!

day 4: well i did break my eating rule last night. i swam in the morning, and then i had uni for 3 hours, and spent the rest of the day with m rents. we did not eat awfuly. but over 1400 cals.
well another day, no exercise today, except rehearsals so deffinetly a 1300 cal day.

day 5: had an ok day yesterday no exercise AT ALL, not even walking, but my body probably needs it every now and then. so not too busy today got 8 miles to walk though, have a good day

day 6: well this could be a bad end to a good start. I had such a stressful day yesterday, i managed my 8 miles, and i managed to be about 1300 cals, but emotionally im really struggling at the moment.got an essay or 2 for uni, and im in contact with a study adviser, and shes really trying to help me understand how to write a good essay, but i keep getting confussed with description and analysis and so my mind is a boggle. i dont have long to do these essays, so im TRYING to not freak out and just do what i can.
so i am suppose to exercise today, but it may have to be tommorow. i am also going out to town tonight with a mate, so i will be drinking, not heavily but a few. i need it...although thats the wrong reason to drink i know. Hopefully my friend can offer me some good advice.
