Hi ladies! Hope everyone is doing well on the challenge Over the weekend, I ruined last week's progress with fatty party foods..oh well. It just taught me that you really can't take a weekend off, its something that I have to make a serious part of my life. So tommorow I'm back on the ball!

My goal is to be out of the 200's by Valentine's Day. It will be so nice to see a '1' at the beginning of the number instead of a '2'. 199 my goal number!

Would love to join this challenge, im desperate to get back on the wagon again, the weight has been creeping on sigh. This would be perfect for me as it will be my 25th birthday on the 23rd february, so it would be nice to be lighter by then! Im aiming for 14lbs by then, I need to start putting the effort back in again, im just got plain lazy!!! Looking forward to getting to know u all !!

I am doing the Leslie 3 mile walk DVD "walk away your waistline", I hope this will help in addition to watching what I put in my mouth!! Any helpful ideas/tips? please share if you have something that worked for you. I am determined to lose this unwanted weight!! Thanks a bunch

I have found that reducing the amount of sugar I take improves my ability to work out, as well as the quality of sleep I get. I stop drinking soda, use splenda instead of sugar and baked goods are avoided. Personally, I am about to cut potatoes and pasta out as well. Pre-holidays I dropped 7 lbs doing this.

Good luck in whatever method you choose.

I don't eat pasta and potatoes but I eat other foods that are very high in carbs and I really have a hard time staying away from carbs :-(
I recently started stoping eating at least 2 hrs before going to bed, I heard that may also help because your body tries to use stored calories instead of calories from the food you just ate right before going to bed...

Thedy I never met a carb I didn't fall in love with. Honestly, I am cutting potatoes and pasta because they are my goto's for emotional/comfort eating. Also, I tried the Atkins Induction Plan last year. A total exlusion diet is not a sustainable plan for me, but I did drop about 10 lbs in two weeks. I also noticed how much the level of carbs and sugars in my diet effected my general well being. I was amazed at the difference just a few days made. The best advise I think is to make small changes over time. Whatever change that may be.
