What's up ladies? My stomach is starting to tightened up with nerves. In about two hours, me and my mama are going to the apartment complex to sign my lease! This will be the first time my mama will see the apartment I picked out. I'm giving myself a headache.

Michelle -- what ambition you have today -- very nice post, perfect summary for the rest of us to catch up!! You are my inspiration today
Don't feel bad, I don't know what Purium and Casmir Pulaski day are either. Very interested to find out. Purium sounds wonderful!! I love doing nice things for other people. Wish I had more time to do it.
Jenny and Michelle -- I love bowling, haven't really done it much since I was single. And, my 7 year old bowls a better game than I do anyway (okay, he does get to use the bumpers but still!!).
Teror -- So I think you should use the 3 chicks stamp to somehow mark your progress somewhere and then you could think of us every time you give yourself a stamp!!!
Lovemacon -- Just a little curious, everyone seems to be doing walking videos, what exactly are they? Do you walk in place, around the room? Nice job on the weekend, great start to your week.
Suz -- Should I not let you know my friend just had a baby and didn't know she was pregnant because she was still having her period, had a poor doctor, etc??!!!
Jenni -- How was the fork lift, I bet it was pretty cool, I love that kind of stuff. I used to be so bored working in an office.
On that note Michelle -- I'm the same way -- I much prefer the hard working, greasy, steel toed boots kind of guy over the suit and tie!!
Robin -- Even though you went over on your food this weekend I bet it was a wonderful weekend overall with all the family around. You would probably know this since you're so good at this stuff - - if you have an over the top calorie day, can that jump start the weight loss on the next few days when you cut back again?
Labonita -- I guess it was the weekend to be bad!! So, did we all get it out of our systems? I have to admit none of the things I was craving that I ended up eating tasted as good as the anticipation of it all!!
ArtsyGirl -- I think some of us were sending "eat the junk" vibes to each other this weekend. At least we stick together!!
Rowdy -- You are an awesome cheerleader, thanks I needed that today!
Paula -- Do you feel like you are in a "grove" now? Even when there is tempting food you seem to do well. Nice job on the pound!!
Shari -- I'm sure your mom will love the apartment -- very exciting!!
I'm sure I missed someone, sorry -- hope everyone is having a great day.

At any rate, thanks for the welcome and the encouragement. I am looking forward to those 180's.

I've been using those Walk Away the Pounds videos. You can either buy them or check them out from the library. She's got several and they are like 1,2,3,4 and now 5 mile. Usuallly 15 minutes per mile.
You walk in place or back and fourth and side to side. I'm enjoying them , cuz I can do them even with the kids. They usually try and do it with me.
Well keep up the good work today!

Here is a link about Casimir Pulaski. http://www.polishamericancenter.org/Pulaski.htm (I hope it is o.k. ) It is a volunteer holiday schools can chose to take if they wish. The school I work at did but the school my girls go to didn't. So, I have a free day with no kids.
Michelle- I bowl on 2 leagues. A women's and a mixed league. I really enjoy the mixed league. I have a 146(mixed) and a 149 (womens) average. Last night I bowled a 145-177-136. Last game would've been better if I didn't start screwing up in the 7th frame. Had all marks until then. I throw a straight ball. Do pretty good if I can hit my mark. Oh, well. A guy on the team we were bowling against had an over 600 series.
Welcome, Lottalisa. So very glad to have you here.
Robin- Great job on another loss. So proud of you.
Holy-Can't wait to see that stamp.
Lovemacon-Awesome on the one lb. loss
Sorry if I missed anyone. Have a nice day

Wow, busy, busy, busy.
To make a long story short, Purim is a Jewish holiday, a very joyous one at that. In Persia some king wanted to kill all the jews and Queen Esther came and saved the day. We hear the story of Purim by reciting the Megillah. People dress up in costumes and really go crazy. It's a lot of fun. You exchange gift baskets with friends and family. Some people really, really go overboard. I am now left with tons of candy and cake and cookies and wine and don't even ask. And then like I said, in the evening you celebrate even further by having a big sit down fancy meal. It is a fun day, but oh so calorie laden. It was fun, I don't regret what I ate, again I didn't do so terribly. I do wish the stuff was out of the house though. But I haven't touched any of it today........ (yet).
lovemacon, I also love the WATP videos, so easy and quick and doable.
How exciting Jasonslea, signing a lease!!!
Suz, I'm sorry your stomach is not 100%. I hope you figure out what's going on soon.
Welcom, lottalisa. Soon they'll be a lot less of Lisa.
Paula great control with the chinese food. something I surely don't have with that stuff. congrats on another pound down. And you're eating one of my favorite veggies for dinner - brussel sprouts - YUM.
Michelle, I'm sorry you didn't like the cauliflower. DON'T give up on it yet. How about roasting it?
JennyWenny - 3 lbs - AWESOME!!!!
Jeni, you are gonna be so cool on that forklift. Sounds like fun. I thought of you yesterday. We were at my SIL's house yesterday for the holiday and she made this broccoli, red onion, craisins salad. Yes, craisins, and there on her kitchen table was this enormous bag of Ocean Spray craisins. ENORMOUS. My SIL shops at one of these food wholesale places. I guess they really, really like the little suckers. I didn't touch the salad by the way, she loaded it up with some mayo dressing.
I know I am missing a few of you but when I scroll down it only shows me a certain amount. Hello to all the rest of the team.
I went to the Dr. this morning. Whatever. I will be having an endoscopy tomorrow morning. He wants to see my esophagus and see what's giving me all this trouble. I will be sedated. I'll keep you posted.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

Ladies ladies ladies!! I get home from work and there are already 23 posts!! I am so glad you are all here. I am having a rough time, right after lunch I got this nasty migrane. oooo.
Today was the theoretical class on the forklift driving. I was the only one out of 11 that has never been on a forklift so the instructor directed all 6.5 hours toward me, and I still missed 4 on the test. BUT to make my case for it, They were all trick questions. The instructor told us one thing, but the book another and I answered by what the instructor said. Tomorrow due to a scheduling error I have the forklift practical for 8 hours instead of 4 (actually I am double booked for the second part of the day.) I figure If I still need some practice after the first 4 hours then I will take the second class. I am a little nervous to take the test, not so much forward, but backward.
Suz, the most practical advice I can give you is: there is never a "right time" to get pregnant. There are times when it is more challenging, but that baby will be loved and well taken care of whether you had $100.00 or $1,000,000. But I hope when you are ready you have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
I am going to get in bed and hope this migrane goes away so I can get to the gym tonight.

Good morning ladies! I'm happy to report that I did get myself back on track yesterday and I'm feeling really good about that. I have a busy day ahead of me but I'm looking forward to staying occuppied. I have to play a funeral this morning have an art class this afternoon, teach lessons after school and have awomens bible study tonight!
My neurologist called re: my blood tests yesterday. My b12 level is increasing, my hormones levels are all good, but my protein c is still off so she confirmed that I DO have a clotting problem. I'll be calling hematologists today because I want to know WHY and if there is something I can do, or if its genetic, let my bro. and sis know to have them checked. I'm a bit worried, and sad but mainly I'm really angry at my main dr. for her lack of attention/compassion/expertise.....
W-64+ oz.
E-3 miles (we wussed out with very cold wind chills and quit early)
E-portion control and healthy foods
D-I want to work on forgiveness today
Jeni-I hope your migraine is gone. I think it'd be fun to drive a forklift, but not so fun to sit through a class describing how to do it. Just give me the keys and watch out!! Actually a dream of mine is to drive the Zamboni machine they use at ice rinks. That would be the best.
Robin-Purim sounds like a very nice holiday. I'm impressed you were able to maintain some form of control. I hope your endoscopy goes well and they're able to help get rid of the problem you're experiencing. You'll be in my thoughts today.
lovemacon-Congratulations on your loss!
Shari-How did signing the lease go? What did your mama think of the place? I'm so happy for you!
Shelby-No more "eat the junk" vibes. I hope you got back on track yesterday.
Paula-Congrats on your loss! You are so in control with your eating. I hope someday I can be there also.
lottalisa-Welcome and congrats on your progress so far.
Michelle-I walk from 6-7am about 5 mornings a week. I meet my neighbor and we gossip and vent and its a wonderful way to start the day. We walk outside, which on days like today with a windchill of -4 is a bit tough, but overall its nice to be outside for a bit of each day. I really feel good for the entire day after getting up and out so early. (usually I feel more energized than if I take a sleep in for extra rest)
LaBonita-Great job to you for getting right back on track also! Glad you got your exercise started so early and a healthy breakfast!
Holyteror-Hope your rehersal went well. Is this your first show? It'd be such fun to see. Wish we all lived close together.
Suz-What a great attitude. I am with you. I felt so awful physically after eating so poorly. Thats good incentive for me to stick to healthier food. No more tummy aches.
Jennywenny-3 Pounds!!!! WooooooHooooooooo!!!

Yesterday was a good day. It helps that I didn't go anywhere that there was food. Dinner turned out really good. You never know what it's going to be like when you use a new recipe. Tonight is stirfry. I think I'll just make mine all veggie and throw in a few shrimp for my hubby. I have a lot of veggies that need to be used up.
Shari- How did your mom like the apartment? When do you startt moving in?
Shelby- I'm not sure I'm in a groove. I still get tempted by food. I just try and limit the bad stuff when I come across it. I am doing much better when I eat at home.
Love- Another pound! WTG!!
My daughter has the walking tapes and I don't think she's using them anymore. I think I'll ask her if I can borrow them and see if I like them.
Robin- Good Luck at the Dr. today. Let us know how it goes.
The Brussel Sprouts were good. I tried a new recipe and they turned out pretty tasty. The recipe called for diced ham and I used the Smoked Turkey Sausage instead. It was like a casserole. That and small round red potatoes with a little Promise margarine and parsley and we called it a meal.
Jeni- Good Luck with your test today. Also hope the migraine is better. That's no fun!
Artsy- Sounds like you a have busy day. Sorry to hear the Dr. test didnt' turnout the way you wanted. I hope they find out some good news at the next appointment.
Today's Weed
W- Drink 3-4 bottles of water. I'm doing better with the 3 now just need to work on the 4th
E- walk 20 minutes n the treadmill
E- Stay on track. Getting a lot of veggies in.
D- Enjoy my oldest grandson's school band concert tonight.

W 80 oz
E 60 minutes I hope
E1200 cals

Good morning everybody
Yesterday went so well -- did 40 minutes on the treadmill at the gym and 20 minutes on the elliptical and I felt great!! Perfect food, kids were happy, no major problems to deal with all day. I wish they were all like that.
Just a quick pop on for WEED --
W -- No more soda!! Back to water.
E -- No gym today, have too much work to catch up on.
E -- 1500 calories, more protein and fruit/veg less carbs
D -- Today is my dad's birthday -- he had a quadruple bypass last October and is doing excellent, guess that's why I'm in such a good mood -- SO happy he's still with us!!
Hope everyone has a great day and everything goes your way!!

jcat: That's how i felt sunday. we didn't make it to san francisco because of it. I was wiped out from 4 days of nasty headaches
Rehearsal was ok........our newest dancer (the reason we were having extra rehearsal) threw her back out on sunday.,..she may not be able to dance. But we got the extra practice in. We have another one on wednesday, and I've got plenty of sewing to do.
I did real well eating til after rehearsal. I had to have something with more protein. I didn't have any protein for my dinner. Had an english muffin with spaghetti sauce/cheese on it. Thought i had pepperoni but I was wrong LOL Had some peanut butter when I got home. and some carrots. gotta get a good protein in at night so I stay full. And drink more water in the evening so I can feel full too.
Artsy: this isn't my first show........I've been dancing since 2004
