I'm in I'm going to stick with the same goal as last month. A least 4 days per week, for at least 1 hour per day. I can do it!!! I almost made it last month just a few hours and days short.

Week one (starting feb. 1-4): 1hr. not a great start at all,had a death in the family so that really threw me off.

Week two (feb. 5 - 11):not a good week

Week three (feb. 12-18):2 days, 1.5 hr

Week four (feb.19-25):4 days, 4 hours YA!

Week five (feb.26 - 28):

Red face

Hi. I wanna join you!!!

I am setting my goal as 50,000 steps from all 5 weekdays and 10,000 or more on weekends. That comes out to about 10k each day for weekdays and 5k wkend days. But it can fluctuate as long as the week ends the same. This can include walking, jogging, on treadmill or outside, marching in place, dancing, playing basketball, hide-and-seek with the kids, etc. LOL! (Usually it takes at least 45 mins of purposeful walking a day plus my whole day of normal work to get to 10,000.)

I will give myself 2 days off (if I need to take them) during the month only to allow for when I just am not home all day bc of errands, etc. or we are driving in the car out of town, etc. and I just can't find any time to move. If I see that I need more days off, I'll change it for next month. But I want to try this and see.

Let's do it!

Hugs, Selina

I'm sticking w/ my goal of 30 min./day of exercise. Walking, cycling, weightlifting, etc. I'm also keeping track of overall mileage (for exercises that can be measured that way.) My goal of total exercise for Feb. is 840. I hope to at least meet that amount -- missed the last two months' goals (for weird reasons) -- and, possibly, I'll exceed it.

Feb. 1- 15 min. shovelglove
2- 15 min. shovelglove
3- sick
4- sick
5- sick
6- 15 min. shovelglove, 30 min. walking (sorta sick)
7- sick
8- sick
9- sick
10- sick
11- planned day off
12- 20 min. walking (still sorta sick, ugh!)
13-
14-
15- 15 min. shovelglove, 20 min. walking
16- 15 min. shovelglove

19- 15 min. shovelglove

Soon2BFitChick: Normally we post a calendar type post and edit everyday so you and others can see your progress for the whole month. Also we post conversation post as well. What part of Houston do you live in? DH and I moved from Katy to College Station about a year and half ago.

Dolly! Hi there fellow Texan.

We live in Katy now! We just bought a really great home out here off Mason, right above I-10. You know where that is? So far we like it alot. We used to live off of Hwy 6 and Westheimer.

Ok, I will do that, just copy and paste it back into each day. Can do. Cool to find someone from here. Nice to meet you. And thanks for the info.

Let's see.. so I need to put each day on here then.

How funny is this! That is where we used to live, but north of I-10 off of Fry. I love that area of Houston especially old Katy, it still feels like a smaller town sometimes, but now it has grown so much!

That's cool. Any good parks nearby and walk tracks? I know of that one park, hmm.. can't remember, it's named after a woman, Mary something?..

Yeah, it has grown, everyone here says so. Still growing, they are building lots of school to accomodate everyone. It's crazy. But it's a really nice place to live. I'm glad we decided to move here.

Mary Jo Peck Park is great. It is at Franz and Katy-Hockley Cutoff. There is a pond you walk around and has a fishing pier for the kiddos. They have outside playground equipment. Also there is an indoor pool for swimming laps, I never did that though.

Thanks! That's the one. I love it there. Used to go there when we lived in Houston even. They even have free mini golf. Just borrow balls and clubs. It's cool.
