Default Back to the gym

Well I did it. I went back to the gym, after a 3 month lapse, I decided it is time to go back. I am really proud of myself and I feel good too. I started off with a fifteen minute warm up on the bike and them finished with a 25 minute treadmill walk/speed walk. I just gotta take it one day at a time. Just wanted to share.

Thanks for listening

Congratulations!!

Och, joining a Gym...I have that money problem as well.
And the Gym here is...you know, I was there maybe 7 years ago. The trainer was so terrible unfriendly. He really hated overweight people. He created such a horrible exercise regime for me- three times more repetions than a normal beginner had to do. I think the trainer was a little **** off that I havenīt tried to be fit and in shape BEFORE visiting the Gym.

I've never really enjoyed working out in the traditional sense but I like having a gym membership so I can use the pool. It turned out that my student membership wasn't good for the summer since I wasn't registered for classes which really bummed me out when I discovered that. (I had spent ages not quite making it to the gym so when I get there and was denied at the door... not fun) And being a full time student, I don't really have the money to spend on a separate gym so I did without for the past few months.

Those with money problems-- does your city have anything? We have a recreation center that costs less for a year than the other gyms charge a week.
