Didn't we used to have a regular "hey check me out I lost a pound!" thread? Does anyone mind if I start one again? If so, just lock this sucker up, Ellis, and let it sink to the bottom, I won't mind...
I finally got to change my ticker though, and I'm all excited and stuff! I have been bouncing around 254.5 to 258.5 since mid-April, you see, and now that I'm back on track I have dropped to 253.5. Not a HUGE loss, but I will darn well take it at this point!
I've noticed a few of the newbies aren't trying to lose weight (GRRRR ~ jealous) but just trying to get control of their eating. I think we may become the minority!!
I'll be in here to post a loss whenever that happens again.
Good Idea, I have been hovering around the same 4 lbs since the beginning of May, I was starting to get discouraged, a lb is a pound and we should celebrate each one, after all that how we all got to our highest weights a lb at a time!
Didn't make it to 171 but I did reach 172 and my clothes are definitely fitting better. Plus - I went with my friend to try on bridesmaid dresses for her wedding in November and the sample fit (size 10) - it was a little tight across the chest/back but it FIT...of course it fit better 3 months ago, but that's beside the point - it FIT!!
I'm definitely feeling better about myself lately - I just need to keep up the control!!
I had gained back 2 lbs. -- I don't know how; I wasn't bingeing. I'm thinking it might have been too much salt that was the culpret. Anyway, I lost them both, plus one. So, technically my big loss this week is one pound. Yahoo for me.
