Cadbury, welcome! (sorry about your post. heh heh)
We're very glad to have you join us. Although we're sorry you're just like us.

I have a confession. I had a pretty good day, but I just went over my calories with popcorn.
If anyone wants me to *** the word "popcorn" out, I will do so immediately.

Default Rough past couple of days . . .

Cadbury's welcome to the thread!!! I'm happy you decided to join us.

You know we have cadbury's here in the states too. I love the regular dairy milk chocolate. It's so much better quality than a lot of the chocolate we make stateside.

Keep posting!! I think we all find it helpful to confess.

Kristen Okay, there you are!! And then I disappeared. Keep that exercise momentum going!! I may need to borrow some from you.

ellis Okay, we all forgive you for your mistake. When I first saw that, I said, oh no, ellis changed her mind about this thread and we never get to mention food again!!

Okay, now my confessions I binged yesterday (twice) on teryaki pasta, two slices of apple pie, mashed potatoes, giant chocolate bar, strawberry bars, 6 oranges, an Almond Joy, a nestle bar, and 2 Vallomilk cups. I went to the casino buffet today and of course went overboard on grease-laden foods and rich desserts and then a few hours later I topped it off with a chicken wrap, fries, macaroons, and a giant Hershey bar. And then I just ate 2 bowls of mashed potatoes. And I want some more now. And I was doing SO well. The good thing is that I lost all of my extra cash at the casino and I'm pretty reluctant when it comes to buying food I don't need on my credit cards. I rarely do it, but during my last bad binge streak, I spent an extra $30 on binge food on my credit card.

At least I got the month off to a good start and I'm back on plan tomorrow and I WILL exercise!!!!

Harpo, I'm so sorry you had that binge, but boy, does it sound good. I'm sitting here drooling. If I can get through today...
Sending you what little willpower I have left over...

if it's any consolation, this past january, i spent $15-20 nearly every day buying junk food to b/p. that was the month my credit card got declined.
i've gotten myself down to only b/ping once every 2 weeks. just goes to show this stuff takes some serious time and dedication

it's a fresh new week and you can do it!

I racked up thousands of dollars in debt due to food. And when some of the fast food restaurants started accepting credit cards, I could eat at them every day instead of only when I had cash. I was so out of control that I had to cut up every one of my credit cards. I'm in much better control now, and I have 3 cards right now in my wallet. Except for the time last month, I had been doing so well not buying binge food on them. I hadn't lost control like that in a long time. I thought I may have to cut them up again, but I think I'll be okay.

Cadbury's.. your screenname reminds me all too well of one of my favorite, and frequent binge foods... Cadbury's Fruit & Nut giant chocolate bars. OMG! I love those things. I wish they would make them in regular sizes, so I could just buy that and not the large ones and eat it all . but everytime i see your name it reminds me of them and I crave it lol. but it's a good challenge for me, lol

Hey everybody,
You're all so welcoming, you make me feel great!
Hungry2Live, here in Ireland we have the regular-sized cadbury's bars. My problem is that I have like 3 in one go. I'd be better off buying a large bar instead.
Ok I binged today. I was really bored so I walked into town with my sister(my fellow binger) and I bought a bag of sugary sweets, three bars of chocolate, three gigantic choc chip cookies and I ate a huge slice of choc fudge cake in a coffee shop. The cake wasn't even nice.
I also indulged in a romance novel- I like to read or watch tv while I eat. I have ALL the bad habits.
I'm trying again tomorow.I'm having a really hard time getting back on track. I'm terrified that I'll regain all the weight I've lost.
Hey Kristen. I'm a fellow teen, sweet 16. It sucks being the big one at school, doesn't it?

Golly, Cadbury, I would never have guessed you were 16!! You and Kristen both are so much more intuitive and mature than I was at that age. I was a mess and had no idea that what I was doing to myself was a serious problem. I hope in 7 years you girls are faring a lot better than I am!!! Oh, and I was the big one in high school and entered it at 220 and graduated at 280. I still have my gown and I seriously could camp in it. It's enormous. But since we had a 2,000 member student body, I wasn't the biggest which actually was of little comfort anyway. I lucked out and left high school unscathed, but I still absolutely detested every minute of it. If you and Kristen work really hard, you can graduate with new svelte figures!! I really wish I had the perseverance and motivation to lose weight then. I really commend you two.

I binged tonight AGAIN!! My mom asked me to drive to Super Walmart for her to buy her beloved coffee creamer, and of course for the favor, she lets me get a 'few' things for myself, and I bought binge food. I ate the following: 3/4 of a gallon of chocolate chip ice cream, 2 mini apple pies, 10 mini mounds, and a huge bowl of mashed potatoes. GRRRR. I feel like rubbish.

Okay, so 4 out of 7 days isn't too bad. It's over half of the week. Next week I'm aiming for 7 out of 7 days binge free!!!

Wow...I've been on 3fc for over a year--how have I managed to not know about this section?! My bingeing has been out of control lately--I'm so glad to have found you all! Not that I'm glad you are all having as difficult a time as I am, but it is nice to meet people with the same problems rather than just have everyone tell you to suck it up and have some will power

Anyway, I haven't binged today yet (I did have a big cookie this morning I shouldn't have had, but there was only 1, so I didn't go crazy), and I didn't binge over the weekend. Obviously, the hardest times are when I'm alone, and over the weekend, I am always with my boyfriend, so that's easier. My hardest times are in the mornings at work (I get in earlier than most people in my area, so I often find myself "sneaking" donuts and candy from the cafeteria downstairs) and in the afternoon when I get home from work (around 3:45pm) until my boyfriend gets home (around 5pm). You would think that time in the afternoon when I am home alone would be PRIME TIME for exercising, but instead, I just exercise my arm by shoveling food into my mouth.

Now, I don't keep any junk food in my house. I know I can't handle that. But bingeing is bingeing whether it's on chocolate and potato chips or sunflower seeds and cranberries

Last week, I stopped at McDonald's almost every morning on my way to work. I make it look like I'm getting a meal for a friend--I order 2 full meals complete with 2 orange juices, and I devour everything (2 sausage/egg/cheese mcmuffins, 2 orange juices, and 2 hash browns) before I get to the office. Even after that, I sometimes have more junk (like I said, donuts and candy) from the cafeteria once I get to work. It's definitely not that I'm hungry--I always have something in my tummy before I leave home (sometimes cereal, sometimes fruit, sometimes oatmeal...). I just can't stop thinking about food! Even in the morning, I sometimes plan out whether or not I might have time to stop at McDonald's on my way home for my 2 double cheeseburgers, small fry, and small vanilla shake (only to go home and have a snack and then a full dinner with my boyfriend as if nothing had happened).

Last night, I planned out everything I would eat today. I have extra motivation now to stop spending money on junk food because once I pay off my credit card, we are going to get a kitten I bet if I'd never eaten so much junk food, my credit card could have been paid off months ago But here I am with thousands in debt, and I hope to have it paid off by Christmas. What a great Christmas gift for me, eh? Less debt, a kitten, and less junk food!
