Sometimes sugar cravings result from eating meals and snacks that have too many carbs but not enough fat or protein. You might make sure you're not eating snacks like a banana or low-fat yogurt without at least including some additional fat.
Also, if you're still skipping breakfast, your blood sugar could be dropping off by lunchtime, which will make you want to eat more later. If you're still not into breakfast, even a piece of cheese or a little peanut butter might help keep your blood sugar where you want it until lunchtime.
