is what I try to do. I want everything to change all at once. Compulsive behavior. Like MAGIC I begin exercising and control the food intake. That lasts about 20 lbs. worth then the binging starts and then I stop exercising.

My idea this time is to do nothing different except cut the sugary products and white carbs and get in a few more steps per day. In other words take it easy on myself and just DO IT! rather than trying to change my lifestyle from one extreme to another in one day. I think cutting the sugars will improve my desire to overeat considerably then I can think about calories in and out later. Has anyone done it this way.

I have been the most successful when I lose weight slowly. At least it stays off better (normally). I think you sound like you have good solid goals. I am definitely not an expert however. Especially not since recently I gained back some of the weight I had successfully kept off for more than 6 months. Anyways best of luck to you! I think your plan sounds great.

You are right to suppose that cutting down on sugar and refined carbs will help. I just wiped them out from my day and I seem to be able to stick to my program --some kind of low-carb intuitive eating-- without much effort. Tell us how you do!

So far so good today. One day at a time.
