HCanda, Welcome! We know exactly what you're going throuh. Glad you found us. Try to replace eating with some other reward for yourself, like doing your nails, taking a long hot shower or bath, styling your hair, finding a fun hobby or whatever seems like a reward to you. Good luck!

hcanda - Welcome! This forum, and this thread in particular, can be a very useful resource.

I guess today is day 3 for me, though I can't say I'm fully proud of myself. I haven't binged, but I have been eating too many calories - around maintenance level rather than weight-loss level. Still better than shoveling food in my gaping maw until I'm sick, however!

This is exhausting somedays I just wanna comfort eat but then I try to talk myself out of it and think how awful it feels afterwords.....plus I really try to delve into the underlying issue...

You wanna know something? I have no idea how many days I am at now. Maybe 380? I'm not going to take the time to figure it out right now either. LOL I am not binging. That's the bottom line. I am doing well and trying to live life. I'll figure out the number.....now I'm curious. ha ha ha

I don't have a running tally of how many days I've been binge free but I thought I'd post that twice this week I have avoided two major emotional eating binges! Both have been PMS/stress/fight with hubby urges. I just remembered this thread and told myself I was angry not hungry. I just became very conscious of my whole body and what I was feeling. Last night I even had a couple WW points left that I was going to "mini-binge" with but I stopped myself b/c I knew it wouldn't end after a 2 point snack. Thanks guys!

I'm coming in pretty late on this post but I'd like to join. I had alot of binge problems when I was teenager and these last few years they started up again. I think something like this would help alot.
