Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I spent a lot of time yesterday reading people's stories on here, and you're such a great bunch! It's so helpful to know that I'm not the only one with these issues.

Here's hoping for a great day for everyone!

I'm having one of those days where I actually feel mostly like a normal person when it comes to food! Isn't that awesome? No crazy cravings, no awful struggle. I wish *ALL* days were like this. Maybe, as times goes on, there will be more and more struggle-free days! I hope so!

Day 1 again// I am in a binge mentality right now, no matter what I try to do to distract myself, all I can think about is binging. Food is a drug, Im not even hungry, but craving everything. I will have breakfast and re-evaluate.
Hope everyone is winning the binge battle//and welcome channel3

Channel3, glad you made thru day 1!

My Michelle, congrats on Day 25!

Missn, congrats on 1 week!

Paris, congrats on Day 115!!!!!

Happy, glad you made it to day 21 afterall! I'm glad you hung in there.

Vixsin, You made it to day 20!! I'm also a hugger. I think we all need hugs, too!

Darra, what's going on in your life right now? You know your wanting to binge is masking what's really going on. Are you stressed, bored, lonely, worried? It could be any number of things that's making you want to eat. Best of luck to you!

This is day 206!

Let's stay strong.

Tyla

Thanks to all!

Day 11 already, I am starting to trust myself around junk food now. I baked a chocolate cake w/ peanut butter icing and made almond raisin bars with no gum in my mouth to control eating all of it. When each was done, I had 2 small 2x2in. pieces of cake & just 1 bite of the bars. I wasn't hungry, and just put them away. Learning to eat only when your hungry or you know you need to eat just for the extra calories( my calories are too low sometimes) is a challenge. After this long without binging I'm not near as hungry, I only eat healthy except if I crave chocolate, then i will have it(not too much though). No depriving myself anymore, now it's getting to be so liberating that I feel great and back to normal!

It is Friday everyone, time to mentally prepare for a weekend and plan for success! I'll be working on Day 26 today, while planning to reach day 30 this coming Tuesday after having passed through the eye of a holiday weekend storm! We can do it!

Congratulations on Day 2, Channelthree!

Day 206, Tyla! Just incredible! And Paris, with 114. Our two triple-digit ladies. You're setting such great examples. When I grow up I want to be you!

Fruitlady: I'm sure your feel great with such a "normal" way of handling what for some of us is almost impossible. I'm not ready to come within 3 feet of anything with chocolate and peanut butter icing! But you're proving it can be done!

Vixsin: I'm a hugger also! I hate that TOM, the weight is just all over the place and it is just such a mental test of determination! Today is THREe wEEKS without a binge for you, yayayayay!

Hang in there Darra, get right back on the horse and ride 'em, Cowgirl!

Happymum
: I think there are alot of emotional ups and downs involved with making this change. I'm pretty sure binging was a major way I sublimated my emotions (good ones, bad ones, all of them!) so when I stop binging I have alot of emotional responses that I don't know what to do with. I'm trying to find healthier and more creative outlets for all of that energy. Some days it just isn't easy. So hang in there and know that for every emotional low, you'll eventually get onto a high as well!

good friday morning to all of you beautiful ladies!!!

i officially put the scale in the closet... my goal shouldnt be a number on the scale... it should be about how many binge free days i have and how i FEEL!

i successfully earned day 21... it was a struggle from start to finish and i feel proud that i didnt overdo it anywhere along the way! so many chances too! having planned out and packaged a picnic really helped because the kids play place has 'healthy' meals (ha ha ha... NOT!!!!!!!! pizza? chicken fingers? ice cream!) and i was starving after playing so i managed to hold off knowing i had healthy chicken wraps in the car waiting for me... in the end i went to bed with two pieces of toast on my plate instead of one but i was still really hungry adn did wake up hungry too so i am feeling okay about being 160cal over 'budget' ...

so i have to plan my weekend errands AND FOOD so i am not tempted... tomorrow is my big shopping spree!!! tonight i meet my dietician... going to be a good weekend!!! hoping the weather holds out so i can go for a good long run after work today too... otherwise it will be a short run in the rain because i am running outside today... i dont care what mother nature has to say about it!!!

feeling slightly more positive this morning... i think you have a great point that when you bury your emotions with binging, when you stop you actually hvae to feel those emotions and it is scary after so many years!

lets keep strong!

Day 207! In 3 more days I can say I made it 7 months binge-free. That is THE miracle of the year!

It's all about emotions. I know I keep saying that over and over, since Day 1. I did a lot of research to come to that concusion. And I think we all are finally getting it. Wish I knew that a long time ago.

MY MICHELLE, Congrats on Day 26! Thank you for your kind words. I love your positive attitude!

Let's stay strong over the weekend... the real test.

Tyla

day 64

Been moving into my new apartment. Very busy. At a friend's at the moment cuz i don't have tv, internet, or air conditioning at the new apt yet. Moving in furniture tomorrow and very stressed and weather is giving me migraines. I just want to eat. I debated it. Ate one oreo and stopped cuz it's not worth it. But I always want to eat when i feel sick or crappy.

Wow, I cant imagine being Binge Free... this IS my issue.

So I guess my last one was Monday, so I'll say I'm at 4 days now.

I'm not going to DIET, I'm going to be BINGE FREE!

Blue flower, i think that's a really good idea. Just focus on not bingeing and eventually the rest will fall into place. change one behavior at a time. I still count the days when i don't eat exactly on whatever program i'm on, as long as it's not a binge.
