Caramel oreos in the grocery store. I had never seen them before. And we never had oreos or other junk food in the house growing up, so I was really curious... I think I actually said "No." out loud.

I don't even go in the cookie aisle! So the grocery tried to trick me by putting them in the "special deals" up front by the door.

^I hate grocery stores full stop.

I said, 'NO' to dessert tonight. My friend and her son had a slice of pie and a brownie and I sat and watched them. Actually, I had one bite of the pie. One bite!!!

I went to Costco today to get fresh veggies and vitamuffins....and said NO to all the taste tests and the hotdogs on the way out...it was hard, my friend had one...but I stuck to my plan of not eating while I was there

Hubby called me at work today and said he had a taste for Chinese food and did I want to order when I got home? Not one minute did I hesitate to say NO! and it felt great it was like second nature I made up my mind yesterday evening that on October 1st I was going to take control and stay focused.

On the way home I picked up McDonalds for the kids ( a once a week treat for them) and normally I would get some fries but this time I just ordered for them and that was it!

The smell almost got me but I stayed focused and wen home grilled some chicken, steamed some mixed veggies, cooked some low carb pasta and mixed it all together with some rosted red pepper alfredo sauce.

I'm and happy and proud of myself for he choices I made today!

I was working all day and due to the nature of my job, I could not stop for a lunch break! So I didn't get to have lunch until 5 pm.

I walk into the sandwich shop, starving already (and it's never a good idea to order while starving anyway) and they have a giant pile of WHOOPIE PIES

But I managed to say NO! It was a miracle!

I didn't have a day to be proud of but I stopped myself from letting going 300 calories over turn into a full out binge. Normally I give up on days when I go over - even if by a little bit - and let myself eat whatever I want. I'm SLOWLY trying to get out of that habit and I'm proud of myself for taking a step in the right direction. A cookie/ice cream/chocolate/etc sounded SO tempting today (and still does haha) but I told myself NO and opted for a cup of hot cocoa instead. I'm going to stick to my cocoa and not listen to the cravings because I know in the long run I'll be much happier if I don't give in! Being able to say I'm in control and on the road to a healthy weight (and body image) gives me a lot more pleasure than ANY sweet treat ever could!

Great job! I also have issues with going over the top on a binge. baby-steps and rational thinking are great ways to keep in control.

Tonight we had a training at work and the Sales Rep brought...

PIZZA

I didn't have any; everyone else did.

Personal triumph. I think this may have been the first time I've ever said no to pizza; even during my most resent commitment to weight loss.

NF Whipped Cream!!!!! (not bad if you have one serving, but I usually end up eating the whole bottle in one or two days!)

I put it in my shopping cart and carried it around the grocery store... then when I go to check out, I said "I don't want this" and handed it to the cashier. This is my first, real victory of Will Power

Today i prepared pakora, a fried spicy snack for the family as it was raining and prefect time to have one. Instead of loading my self with a whooping 700 calories for a single serving i had fresh salad with peppers for spicy treat.

The doughnuts in the break room and 5 people asking me to go grab some before their gone...*sigh* I know if I have just one smell of them it will be on like donkey kong. But go me! They have all be devoured by fellow co workers and I couldn't be happier!
