Hi everyone!! Welcome to the binge free challenge!! You can come in here and post your weekly successes and struggles and keep track of your binge free days. You can also vent about anything and everything you feel like getting out. We are here to share our feelings and to encourage and inspire each other. No negativity! We are strong chicks and I KNOW we all can do this!! And we don't have to do it alone, we have each other to get us through the rough times.

I went out to Longhorn Steakhouse last night and ordered the sierra chicken and only ate half of it. In essence, I was able to resist the ribs on my boyfriend's plate and steak for a meal with approximately 400 calories. Yay!

day 72 here!!! i couldnt resist counting as I came very very close to a full on binge last night... did go over calories as a conscience decision. what i didnt do was go out of control. i realised that i was over tired, enjoyed the extra calories, about 300, and went to bed early.

feeling very strong and motivated to keep this trend going!

lets rock this week!!!

Day 13 is done and put to bed. Yippee! I had a treat (food) yesterday afternoon and I am thrilled to report that it was just that --- a treat and not the start of a binge. Makes me proud of myself, and I must say, I am proud of you all for posting here.

I'm in! If binge is to be defined as that "thing with the emotional trigger" behind it, then it's been about 2 weeks. However, on Saturday I went 500 calories over my budget because of poor planning. I went too long between healthy meals and when I was done working and watching my friend's band play, I had frozen Amy's pizza. I could have had a veggie burger instead for WAY less calories, but I opted for pizza because I was so hungry. This is the 4th or 5th time in a month that I've gone way over plan as a result of poor meal planning, so hopefully I'm learning from it.

I'm in for this week. My trip to Chicago started out okay...definitely went off plan, but I never really binged....until the last day. So, I started fresh yesterday and I have one good day done!

Here's to day 2 and to hopefully a binge-free week!

I'm starting over again...I binged this morning, very poor planning was what caused it, I had a small breakfast at 7am, by 11am I was hungry and I refuse to eat fast food so instead I binged on bakery sweets. What a contradiction I can be! I haven't eaten fast food since Aug '09 and refuse to break that, yet I break my sugar challenge in a heartbeat. If I had just brought a healthy snack with me all would have been fine...oh,well, I'm done beating myself up about it. Glad I came on here to be honest with myself about my binge earlier, I'm starting over now! Lesson learned on the planning front. Glad you guys are out here!

I'm having a hard day. Please, SELF, don't fail me now!
I am fighting a huge urge to binge. I'm NOT giving in! I'm bummed by my week long stall and 1 pound gain, regardless if it's TOM water retention or not. I KNOW I can't have gained. But, STILL, it is frustrating me. The slow, steady loss keeps me motivated and makes it easier not to binge. This just sucks. I've gone 22 days without binging. The first 18 or so were pretty manageable...the last few have been real efforts.

I want to go a year, binge free. I'll never get there if I have to start back at day 1 tomorrow. I am not going to give up my control today.

I cannot eat my disappointment away.

blairsey - you can do this!!!! keep posting, keep busy, think about how great you'll feel tomorrow on day 23! visualize yourself tomorrow when you wake up and realise you've done it! the power of positive thinking is not a joke - it really works! plan for success and more often than not, it will happen...

6 days in!

tonight i'm supposed to go out for dinner at a fantastic burger place. i exercised extra today, and have been eating really healthy so far today to plan for it. there will be plenty of water with dinner for me. :/

Blairsey, don't do it...believe me I made such a bad choice earlier and felt like crap for a few hrs after. It just isn't worth it! You can do it!

I am 3 full weeks binge-free!!

For now, I am still fine and looking forward to reaching my 230 mini-goal. I do have a bit of concern about what happens once I reach that goal. I have never met a goal before, and I don't want to get there then stop trying, so I guess I just have to immediately make a new goal.

I hope everyone has a successful week!! I'm rooting for us all!
