Default Mini Snickers- Help!

So my office just got a candy bowl, filled with mini snickers and other mini candies.

When they have full size candy bars in there, I can resist just fine. It's those minis! I think my thought process is "Oh, it's just one!" Which is all fine and good, until "just one" leads to ten.

So far, I've been staying within my means of what's OK for me to eat. But I predict this is going to become a problem. I've had 5 already today

HELP!

Ok, Onestep, let's take step back for a second. From your ticker I can see that you've already lost 10 pounds, AWESOME!! Remember how much work you did to get to this point and how great it felt when you stepped on the scale to find you had went from 228 to 218. Remnd yourself of how wonderful it will be when you are under 200, you are only 19 pounds away from that.
Now, take a look at those mini-snickers, are they really worth it? Are they worth as much as your hard work, your life changes? Do you feel as good eating them as you did when the scale read 218? If you know you can't stop, can you have someone move them farther away from your desk? Can you not pass the area where they are located?
You CAN do this, you can win, you can conquer...why? Because you are an amazing, beautiful creature who adds joy and wonderment to the world. You make a difference, you touch others lives, you are important.
All the mini-snickers in the world don't equal your value, your revelancy.
Take a moment and remember who you are and how you are defined

Sweetcakes, thanks for the quick reply. Just what I needed!

You're absolutely right. 5 snickers do not taste as good as the numbers going down on the scale! One mini is fine, but more than that doesn't beat that weight loss feeling.

Luckily, my office is seperate from the main office, so I can limit the number of times I have to go in there. Hopefully, between the support of 3FC (and the fact that I'm so close to going home!) will keep me on track

For me, once I start I can't stop. My solution is to never go near the candy bowl at all! If you can't resist having one, then I'd say at least wait to have it until later in the day. It will give you something to look forward to, and if it makes you want to eat more and more, well then you will only have to make it through an hour of cravings instead of having the entire day ahead of you filled with repeated trips back to the candy!
