Hey all! Working on Day 10 today. I have a lot of work to do today and I feel like today is going to be tough binge-wise for me. I will just try to be mindful and not let stress steer me towards food.
Hope everyone has a great binge-free day!

Bella, congrats on 10 days binge-free!
Day 1 for me -- I binged on a chocolate bar yesterday. I barely tasted it. Whoops.
Generally my eating is improving, though, so... just keep swimming, just keep swimming...

I made it almost the whole week yesterday, but I binged on a sausage and some lemon meringue sorbet. Onto day 1 this week for me and I planning doing the whole week this time!

Day 15 for me.
What do you ladies consider a binge? To me..... it is after you go over your calories and you say to heck with it..... and eat like tomorrow there will not be food...... this is what I consider a true binge to be.

Count me in. I was on a roll -- for a while! At Day 12, I fell off the wagon -- and binged for a couple of days. Now am starting back at Day 1.

All weekend (well, starting Thursday I think, through to this morning) I've been in binge mode, but not really binging. Basically, I kept starting to binge and stopping myself.
This is great progress, and I'm psyched, but I do wonder how many calories I ingested in "just 3 more bites of pasta while I'm cleaning up from dinner" and "just one ounce of those chocolate chips in the freezer that I keep for baking, now that my husband's asleep" and "just a few grams of brown sugar, straight from the bag" and "just a few sips of my husband's soda while he's in the shower."
I'm trying not to worry about it, and just get back on track, because worrying will just make me more likely to snap and binge for real.

hi all... i'm new and accidentally posted this to the wrong week! so, am reposting here:
just joining this 'challenge' - joined the site only a couple of weeks ago! Anyway, had a big binge last night, and this entire wknd really, so today is day 1 for me! However, it has been a good day! I've eaten only good foods today: apple with all natural peanut butter, banana, hardboiled eggs, coffee (ok, maybe only good for my mental state...), skim string cheese.. anyway, i wanted to be in the 160s before thanksgiving, and seeing as though thats next week, i dont see that happening, but if i could just see a loss this week that would be great! I love the idea of posting often to keep me on track!!

This is my definition of a binge as well. If I eat something that I did not plan for and is not a good choice nutritionally but still eat on plan other than that and come in around my calorie limit then I consider myself to be "off plan" but not to have binged.

such a great thread. it's like we have to re-educate our brains into healthy eating mode, for me after quite a few years of thinking "oh to **** with it"! which totally doesn't make sense.
no weight loss for two weeks feeling bummed about that, but have to be realistic...i'm not behaving myself!
