Day 3 here. I almost caved last night for chocolate, got a whole bunch of pieces and sat down in my chair. I ate two and the guilt started coming on hard so I put them all back!!

Day one down, but it was very hard. Hoping today will be a little easier, but it's grocery shopping day so it will be challenging to get out of there without any binge foods. I am making a menu and then a grocery list and committing not to buy anything off list. Nothing at all. Period.

Back and still trying
Hello everyone,
I was on the boards for several months and then life got difficult. My mom started chemo for leukemia and I was in charge of taking care of my 94 year old grandmother. My job is crazy and with the economy who can say no to new responsibilities.
As you can imagine binging was the one comfort left..
BUT...my mom is now in remission, my husband is a wonderful caring person, I still have a job which given the state of the economy is a relief so... I am BACK!!
I would love to join this challenge..it has been 3 days for me...the longest in at least 6 months!!!
Good luck to all of us and lets keep each other strong!!
Kathy
PS Happy Binge-Free New Year everyone

Day 6 for me. Wasn't perfect at the party, but didn't binge, didn't get horribly drunk, enjoyed the company and in all ways had a great new years eve.
No stores open today, can't go buy binge food!

Day 1 for me, last night wasnt great but it could have been much worse. Today is probably my cleanest day in a good month and I plan to continue it.

yes, I wasn't aiming for "party perfection" but achieved a balance. Had to step away from the food a couple of times, determine to go do something else, even if I was enjoying the discussion at hand.
It could have been worse is a good buzzword when starting again.
good luck Lauren

I had a minor binge last night, but it was an improvement on my really bad days in November when iI would eat an entire packet of biscuits. I over ate oatmeal and wholewheat toast, but am back on plan today.
I have osteoarthritis, but am going through a lovely pain free phase so staying off the sugar is easier at the moment.
Best wishes to all :-)

Day 5 for me! I ate a little too much chocolate yesterday, but just a couple pieces not an actual binge.
