I like to have special breakfasts on the weekend , it feels more like a weekend when I do . Anyone do anything special for weekend breakfasts? I just had 2 cups of coffee and liek 5 peices of bacon!

I feel the same way it's the only time we can sit for awhile and talk. I eat fairly low carb, but on weekends I make home made scones and fruit salad a-lot or maybe lowfat stuffed french toast!

Sunday morning is when we do a nice breakfast - usually whole wheat pancakes with fruit, or cornmeal waffles - I like to cook fruit (berries and some peaches/bananas/nectarines) to use in place of syrup, 'cause you don't need to add sugar to them.

I had Oats and a cup of coffee this morning. I did try those cream cheese pancakes before and they were good especially if you get really tired of eggs all the time.

are they fast to cook like 10 minutes or so? I would whip some up before school or pop some in the microwave!
