Ok - so today was weigh day - I am down 3 pounds. At first I was a little disappointed since I have been exercising twice a day and staying under 20 carbs per day. However, I decided to check my measurements, and I have lost a little over an inch on my waist, and an inch on my thighs which is amazing. I am hoping it keeps me motivated through another week.

Just wanted to let you know that the consensus here is that the Atkins bars are actually detrimental to weightloss. Ifor one have first hand knowledge of this. The way they figure the carbs on that stuff (perhaps including the drinks) is not completely true. Everyone I know who has used them (especially during induction) have had not so great results.
you have to stick to the food list only for 2 weeks and then try and see if you can incorporate a shake or bar in once in a while. You willhave greater results (most likely) Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks so much for telling me that, casue I was gonna die if I had to choke down one more of those shakes!! I would so much rather stick to the food list!!

Way to go MsChris! I've been thinking that I should check my measurements too. exercising twice a day? Now thats commitment! I do the treadmill but I really need to incorporate some kind of strength training at this point. I'm a bit to flabby!

Tamika - SOmeone gave me that same advice that I just gave you when I was at a stall for a month! I also added in the bars at that same time. once I heard that and Istopped the bars, the weight started dropping again. At this point i think you're still doing induction right? try to breakfree from all snack for now. I have done well on induction and have kept to it (more or less) .Iwould say give it 2-3 weeks.

WTG MsChris on the 3 lb.s and the inch lost. Great job.

I have never seen the Atkins bars or shakes in the area where I live. I guess now I'm glad that they weren't available for me.
