Dang this is what I get for waiting too long to reply!!!!!

Rachel: You have done great. You will get that pesky pound off in no time.

Leenie: Miss you too

StarPrincess: Oh the "figure it out yourself" boss "what do YOU think you should do?"

TG: hhhmmm 3 & 5.....time for another?

KarenW: Still trying to decide if I should call......I think I will. I want to have a plan in place for when this happens again. I also meant to ask you...I know you crochet....but do you have any knit patterns for a pancho? I am thinking of making once since they are all the rage these days

Lisa: I can't imagine the waiting......but.....soon, soon. I can't wait to hear about everything! Don't disappear on us when Lindy is here...we need to hear all about her.

Cinnymamma: I love to sew...been doing it since I was a kid. I take it for granted sometimes actually. BUT DON'T ASK ME TO SEW ON YOUR BUTTONS! I hate sewing on buttons

Sugar Cube: We are only supposed to get some light snow on Thursday I think......I could do with some melting right about now.

Just popping in really quick to say hello! It's 74 degrees outside and I think I am going to go for a walk before going to pay the property taxes. Maybe I'll go into labor and DH will have to go deal with those crazy people at the tax office Now that would be a sight I would love to see! I'll catch up with the people I missed later I promise! Have a great afternoon!

Lisa

PS Jane: dont' you worry, I am not going anywhere! I'll keep you all posted with news and pics of the little one! Plus, I"ll be back on the Atkins plan trying to pick up where I left off. Although since I have only gained 5 lbs, after the baby is born I hope to weigh less than when I got pregnant. That is if I can leave these Nepolitian ice cream sandwiches I bought alone

Ok, got an appt with the Asthma Specialist for Friday. I called and spoke with a different nurse and she said "absolutely" I should have been seen. She was concerned if I would make it till Friday! I said it was getting better but just wanted to sit down with him and make a plan of attack for when this happens again. She agreed.

Lisa: You mean you only gained 5 "extra" pounds right? You also are carrying the baby weight as well right? Just curious. I am having trouble starting again...maybe I am feeling pregancy sympathy pains and will wait to start with you

Lisa: Paying taxes is SUCH a pain. Why can't they make it easy for all of us? Hope yours goes smoothly and if not...just say "omg..I think my water broke" and see how fast they fix it

Jane: If I were you I'd just leave it up. If it makes you happy isn't that the main thing? WHO is it that says we have to take down what decorations or what makes us happy? I figure..if people don't like the way my house looks (messy as usual of course) they know where the door is So enjoy it!!! Glad you're getting in to see a specialist

Rachel: Before you know it, that weight you want will be off. Keep up the great work

Leenie: Hope all is going well with you!! Any WATP being done?

Star: Man, I wish I was as disciplined as you. I would love to just work up a sweat...but I hate to sweat. lol. Congrats on the great workout. I'm not sure how much sleep I'm actually getting. I get up 1-2 (sometimes 3) times a night to go to the bathroom (dang water! lol)...and I go to bed at about 9ish because I'm so blasted tired!! Of course, then the cats wake me up at 5ish. I miss the energy I used to have!!

Karen: Sorry to hear about your son. I was hoping they'd cancel the recesses here due to the ice still out before SOMEONE (probably my daughter) gets hurt. Oh...and I slipped on the ice this morning and I can tell it in my back twisted it. GRRR. Hope he's feeling ok and glad your scale is going down.

Randi: You're a braver woman than me. I didn't give up my soda like I said I was going to. I figured I'd work on one headache at a time So maybe on Saturday (have to bowl Friday night) I'll give it up. That way I have 2 days to get over the headache. Keep up your great work

TG: 3 & 5?? Try 12 & 10!! That's how old my "babies" are!!! Sounds like you're back on track and ready to roll. Sorry to hear you're so busy. Keep in touch!!

Liza: Working out at 5:30...in the MORNING?? EWWW!! I'm not a morning person so wokring out is not an option. Keep it up

Well, another day of work done. Tomorrow it's off to some field trip with oldest DD. I'd be excited but she doesn't want to sit w/me on the bus, doesn't want to hang with me during wherever we're going (planetarium I think)....so WHY did she ask me to go? It's to the mall food court for lunch. Not sure how to deal with that. I'll have to figure that out tomorrow. Maybe stick a LC bar in my purse if there's no other options there. I actually worked out TWO days in a row!! WOOHOO!! I don't think I'll manage to get in any exercise tomorrow though. I'm trying to remember WHEN it was that I quit being so hungry when I first started this WOE. I miss that

Brenda - I don't like to sweat! I'm a princess!!!!!

That being said, I took a look at the millions of different classes they offer here and have decided on pilates mat classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday around lunchtime. And boxing classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Eeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkk! I'm all excited. It may be worth the sweat if I feel like I'm kicking a little ***!

Randi: Yup...only 5 lbs!

Jane: Glad that you got an appointment with your specialist. Maybe next time a cold comes on it won't be so bad! Hope you are feeling better!

Brenda: Have fun on the field trip. Sounds like your DD is going though that stage where she wants you there, just not so close! Does that make sense? Hope you have fun anyway!

Star: You are such an inspiration to my lazy self All your talk of exercising makes me want to take a nap I am planning on starting some kind of regular exercise after the baby gets here. I try to go for walks daily now, but can't do any really stenuous work outs! Have fun at the gym!

Well, got the darn taxes paid! I got there and there was a long line! Had to stand there about 45 minutes to give them my money! And YEP just as I expected they did have something screwed up. They had my FIL's truck listed with our taxes. My DH is a Jr. and FIL a Sr. so they always mix up something. It was only $7 so I went ahead and paid it. Then when I get home I was telling my MIL it was paid where she wouldnt' pay it, and she had mailed the check today and included that! Guess someone will be getting a refund then For those of you that asked....Yes, I have only gained 5 lbs with the pregnancy. I know weigh 5 lbs more than I did when I went for my first prenatal visit! How that has happened I Do not know! The first 5 months I was very very sick. Couldn't even hardly keep water down! So I lost a bit of weight then. Then after I got to where I could eat I gained all I lost back plus 5 lbs. So my weight from my first visit is just 5lbs lower than my weight last week. Does that make any sense??? One month I gained 3 lbs...that's the most I gained at one time.. they all clapped for me The nurse tells me every appointment that I make her sick because she gained almost 80 lbs with her kids. Glad that I didn't do that! Well...time to go make dinner...I'll probably check back in later! i spend so much time on this computer these days

Just don't flip me the bird!! hahahahahaha

Shoveled snow instead of working, so far we have the wet gloppy stuff. Food is definately getting back on track and I am feeling better already, especially with the water.

The office is chaotic, I can get settled into one project as all the little things are popping up, wonder if there is a blocker for those kinds of pop ups.

LISA - You sound like my sister who ate so well while pregnant she lost overall weight, she went from size 16 to size 12, it can be done very safely, my neice weighed 8 lbs, 12 ounces, cute as a button too.

I have been able to avoid the coffee, even the decaf three mornings in a row, my plan is to have decaf only on the weekends, when I can sit and enjoy it with the newspaper.

BRENDA - Hope the field trip was fun.

Time for lunch, I have my very sensible roast beef and some cauliflower to go with it. So Atkins.
