Hi Froufy!!! I am right there with you, scared of carbs. I will have to treat carbs as I treated cigarettes when I quit smoking and just stay as far away from them as possible!!! You can do this!!! It is so nice having people here who are going through the same things you are. If you want to email me or IM me for support, I'm here. Trazzie: When I was in high school our valedictorian killed himself three weeks before graduation. MIT waitlisted him and he was terrified to go home and tell his father. All of us close with him turned inward and away from the parents not because we blamed them but because at this time we all needed our friends and peers. You already feel as if adults don't get you when you are that age... add tragedy to the mix and the feeling is worse. Good luck with all of this. I know this is so hard for you and your daughter.
