Laser breath
 

Not sure if this has been covered, but...I am in ketosis and my Lord, I feel like I have laser breath! LOL Any suggestions on mints or something to quash this. I don't want to offend my coworkers. http://216.40.249.192/s/contrib/ruinkai/FIREdevil.gif

I use my 2 carbs for my afternoon Dentyne ICE. It is a must after my cheese and tuna lunches!

Sounds like a plan. If it's bothering me, I can only think what everyone else is smelling. LOL Thanks!

Drink lots of water, this helps and chew on some celery (I know I know !! lol )

I drink lots of water, too and adding a little lemon juice does wonders for getting rid of funky breath. I also grow fresh parsley so I can chew on some of that.

I completely understand where you are coming from! After about the third day of atkins, I noticed this funky smell while sitting at my desk at work. I kept looking around wondering who was the source of the offending odor. Then I realized it was me! Talk about embarassing! Ugh, that's the part I hate about atkins. I tried drinking water, mints (but I don't want to add too many carbs), and celery. Finally, I decided OH WELL. I brush my teeth a lot during the day, but I figure I can sacrafice a bit of bad breath to be thin!!!! :)

im sure they have some carbs in them but there is mints made my Blitz i think it is that are made with Splenda. I do remember that breath..makes me think maybe im not really into ketosis anymore because I dont have the laser breath...or maybe i have become numb to it! lol

I haven't really noticed any 'laser breath' from myself. I'm assuming I'm in ketosis since I've followed the Atkins Induction religiously for about a week now, although I don't have any of those strips to check for sure ... maybe my nose isn't sensitive enough anymore! I mean, I did work in the barn with cows and pigs for much of my life! :)
