Daily Menus Anyone? - Oct 6
Hi Everyone!
I would Like to post my daily menu here her if that is OK with you all. I dont usually plan that much ahead as WHat I think might taste good in the morning usually doesnt by noon or dinner time, so I usually post my menu in the evening after dinner.
I thought this might be a great idea to help us get new ideas too. Especially those of us on induction! We used to do this on THe Low Carb Forum.. but it might be better here where all of us are Atkins!

I think that's a super idea. I could use some examples of meals to eat from those of you who are actually losing.

Leens, what a great menu! I think I eat too much (which is why I have only lost 6 lbs) anyway: this was me yesterday not too bad for a Sunday (the days I usually slack off are the weekends) :
coffee cream/splenda
eggs/bacon
Salami/swiss cheese (just a few pieces of salami)
Some Macadamia nuts & Almonds (I try to eat 1 oz, but probably eat about 2)
BBQ Chicken wings (No Carb/Sugar sauce)
Almonds about 2 oz
small salad w/ avacado & ranch/bacon dressing

You read my mind!! I have been diligient with the Weekly Food Log over at the Low carb board, but was wondering if folks here would be interested in an Atkins food log!
Great News! I don't think I'll post today as I am fasting til sundown: (Breafkast = 0 carbs, Lunch = 0 carbs..dinner; CARB OVERLOAD..lol), but I will be around!

Littlefreedom some times when I go home at night I eat everything in site, which brings my calories soring thru the roof, which means no or very little weight loss at the end of the week. Sigh~ Like tonight, gotta be careful I don't inhail the entire roast before it even hits the table.
I would love to keep them below 1500 but seldom do
Froufy you'll make it, yes you will.

I did it...and it was not that bad! I heard that fasting is easier if you are used to low carbing as you don't get that drastic drop in blood sugar you would normally get! I think this might be true, while I did (and still do) have a slight headache, I don't feel really sick or shaky as I have in previous years.
I also did not eat that much upon breaking the fast, again pretty unusual. I was satisfied with a small amount of food, but still drinking water......hope the headache goes away....and can't wait to weigh myself tomorrow morning!
