Talk by Jeff Volek (fairly short):

My experience parallels this exactly. I never imagined I would burn as much fat as I have especially around the middle. And not a day, a moment of calorie counting.

That wasn't mentioned but my appetite just plummeted on high fat. Nothing like it I have ever experienced. I am now regularly, daily, less hungry and more full on fewer calories then I ever felt going to buffets once or twice a month. I felt stuffed then. Now I feel full almost always.

It is an awesome way to live.

margigrace,

Yes, exactly. In addition to the conventional advice making me very sick it kept me very hungry. I wasn't immune to the 'what's wrong with me?' Thoughts.

Well it turns out nothing that a different way of eating (WOE) couldn't fix. I was eating food engineered to be highly addictive. I was having insulin surges and blood sugar crashes. I was 'starving' myself for nutrients while overeating by overeating the wrong foods.

No amount of willpower would have ever succeeded in my eating less. My WOE was keeping me hungry all the time. Now my WOE keeps me full all the time, and I love it.
