Default Saturated Fat is not the problem message going mainstream

Hi All,

This was too important not to share. Clip from recent Dr. Oz show with Peter Attita on what both now think of saturated fat. Be sure to read both parts. Then I am linking an excellent article on LDL and particle size.

Basically when you switch to high fat low carb like I have your triglycerides plummet. Mine did from well over 200 to 70s. Your HDL generally goes up. LDL can go up or down. But most importantly your LDL goes from small deadly particles to large harmless ones.

And part 2, both are very short.

And the article link. Note right now it is saying the site it is uploaded to exceeded its bandwidth. I guess people are very interested. Hopefully available again soon.

Just wow. Just found this. Published in 2010. Short, concise, better than 100 posts of mine. Too good not to share. My bloodwork did the same thing. Triglycerides plummeted. Won't know my HDL until next September but I expect it to have soared.

Anyone on the 'fence' or having a hard time convincing friend or family this alone should not get you to change. I say research research research. But it does link a compelling study.

I have recently returned to visiting these boards. I understand that things you have to say ( or the way they're said ....or perhaps their interpretations ) have had a polarizing effect. That could be a good thing if it gets people thinking. I have discovered a very similar approach to yours after having tried everything else many times over and working to identifying what works for me. Your posts are a good reason for me to keep checking in.

diamondgeog, Thank you for posting this. I read Dr. Attita's blog and have watched him on Youtube. Dr. Oz accepting this science will go a long way towards public acceptance.
