Default 'Man Crush' on Tim Noakes

I love this guy. He is a Professor of exercise physiology in Cape Town. His early work was all on how important carbs are. He has done a 180.

Here is a Ted Talk. The first half is exercise related that may or may not be your thing.

But the second half is great. I follow him in Twitter @proftimnoakes

I get a lot of good articles from this tweets.

And even more awesomeness. His book Lore of Running he has refuted carb loading and says you should do fat loading for performance.

If you start watching the one on the 180 site at about 11 mins it gets really good. Fascinating stuff. So hope this all gets out.

He was a Prof of exercise science and as he said it took to 61 for him to know he didn't need carbs. I wish these past 9 months had happened to me 20 years ago. So many more years of health. But better late than never.
