Speaking for myself I can never do one diet in its entirety. I have to customize my diet into what I think is important. For example I love the primal blueprint but I'm not willing to give up legumes. I fully understand the low-carb diet but I'm not willing to part ways with pasta forever. There has to be flexibility otherwise it leads to binging. I can't swear off foods, but I do my best to limit and avoid. So do what you have to do, there is no Primal Police that is going to stop you. As long as you feel good and lose weight then go for it.
