Default Video -- Sugar, the Bitter Truth

Please forgive me if this has been posted here before. But if you haven't seen this video, it is really enlightening and interesting -- and explains part of why carb-y food with high fructose corn syrup is so fattening.

It's 90 minutes long but definitely worth it.

One for every 5 lbs lost.
Startin' over: got below 180 in 2009 and regained. This time I'm not dieting. I'm learning to live like a 140-pound person.

Yes, this video!! I was just looking for it the other day and couldn't think of what it was called. I sat and watched it all one day, it was FASCINATING. As someone whose body responds poorly to sugar and carb intake, I found it really helpful to hear the science behind why that is, and exactly what happens in the body to make me feel so crummy.

Definitely recommend it if you're interested at all in the science behind nutrition.

This definitely hit home with me, because I am very sensitive to sugar intake as well as alcohol. I also do believe that sugar is addictive, and he touched on that also. Thanks for sharing this!

If you're interested in real science I suggest you read this and especially check out the comment section where Dr. Lustig himself shows up and gets his butt handed to him.
