Last week I stayed at 10 carbs, this week, 5. No weight movement at all. Could this be related to my TOM? I am also really sick, on the couch for 2 days and occasional doses of cough meds when I can't stand it anymore. Are their carbs in Cough syrup? It doesn't say on the label.

To answer your questions...yes, TOM can & does stall many of us. It can cause your body to retain water, causing you to feel bloated and causing temporary weight gain. As for cough syrups...depending on the brand, many contain sugar and/or HFCS (High Frutose Corn Syrup) and can be carby.

I agree with JerseyGyrl on the cough syrup. You'd do best to read the ingredients as opposed to the nutrition label when it comes to that. As far as TOM goes.....I don't usually lose any weight when it's visiting although this cycle I did for some reason. I've been pretty good on-plan wise though this past week so maybe that's why. I've been pretty much faithfully lc-ing for the past year (few cheats here and there) and this is the first time I lost anything while TOM was here. Usually it's the opposite and I go up a pound or 2 when it's around but that probably has to do with giving into cravings during that time.
