Default Started eating chocolate again

I have been on ATKINS induction since the 31st of August and things are going well i tend to mix it up on the induction one day have less then 20g carbs the next day have more than 20, some days i have some allbran and soya milk for breakfast as its lighter than bacon and eggs. i also have the occasional teaspoon of cottage cheese of crunchy peanut butter.

but i have started treating myself i found a bar of 86% coca dark chocolate, i have 1 square a day and its gorgeous!

i have found that i have reset my tastebuds, 86% chocolate used to taste bitter but this is sweet, i found that without sugar for so long things that you wouldn't normally think are sweet taste sweet

That's great - see now, I don't have your willpower... I could never eat just one square a day! I'd eat the whole thing at once... but good for you! I think it's awesome to find a 'treat' that you can trust yourself with in moderation

Lindt 85% cocoa dark chocolate is very good, low carb and very satisfying. Its funny though...I used to be a total chocoholic before I started Atkins...now its been so long since I've had it, I really don't miss it. My weakness is Fage greek yogurt with a few blueberries thrown in, a little bit of hazelnut DaVinci's, a sprinkle of cinnamon & a few chopped, toasted almonds sprinkled on top...Pure Heaven!!!

I've been so wanting to start Atkins up again but have 0 will power. Last time I was on Atkins I was good for months until Christmas came (cookies and chocolate) and then went hog wild and gained back all the weight I had lost.
I even tried eating that Franken-chocolate loaded with sugar alcohols and that made things worse.

Does this chocolate you are talking about have sugar alcohols in it?

The Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate does not contain sugar alcohols. The serving size on the wrapper is 4 squares (they are good size squares...not teenie, tiny little pieces) and its 8 total carbs, 3 grams fiber = 5 net carbs. I only have 2 squares and count it as 3 carbs.

I love dark chocolate and I don't know anyone who can eat a whole bar at once. If you can, I don't know how I can eat multiple milk chocolate bars at once but with dark chocolate, a few squares satisfies me. I even tried the Lindt 99% dark chocolate and I got my chocolate fix with less than a square of it.

Exactly!! That' whats so great about dark chocolate. But I think when we talk about dark chocolate other people who haven't tried it just figure it is like regular chocolate....it is not!!! I think I could FORCE myself to eat an entire bar, but I could never actually want to because it is way too rich/overpowering taste.
