modified atkins - max g of carbs?

hi there - i am trying to do a modified version of low carb (becasue i plan on eating fruit) and i am wondering if anyone has done this and seen results.

also i am clueless on the number of carbs i should be limitting myself to any ideas?- thanks for your input!
