What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I bought the audiobook "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey. It is extremely motivational and teaches you to take control of your life. I HIGHLY recommend it

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? exercising, activity, stress (I work, am a mother, and am a senior in college)

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? getting up earlier, eating smaller amounts -- slower, and validating myself (self-confidence)

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? : my husband !!!

What can you not wait to wear when you are at goal weight or size? I have a brand new sparkly skirt and jeans that I've never worn and are a size 10 -- just waiting with the tags on for me to slip into them.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health?Keeping the creaky old arthritic knees moving...

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? I need to be more diligent with tracking, not so easy to give in to temptation and I really need to walk more. I alos need more discipline so I can plan my diet out better.

What are your fitness/health goals? Lose weight, get fit, and be comfortable in my body.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I had lost weight before and was trying to ignore the fact that I was gaining it back, and finally I looked in the mirror and saw what I really looked like now and I'm completely unhappy with myself. I'm not sure why I let myself go back but I'm not impressed.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? I'm an emotional eater and a very emotional person, so I need to learn to find a different way to deal with my emotions.

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? I need more motivation to actually get out and move my butt, I'm a bit lazy.

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? : everyone! lol. I know realistically I'm not going to be the most attractive person everywhere I go, but I want to be comfortable enough with body that I feel like it.

What can you not wait to wear when you are at goal weight or size? Dresses. I'm not really a girly person, I live in jeans and hoodies, but the only reason I'm not girly is because I feel too fat to wear anything else. There are dresses and skirts out there that I'd love to wear, and I want to be able to do it and feel good in it. Right now I'm looking forward to having my black strapless dress fit again.

I LOVE to cook.. I am also very much a foodie.. I love fine food and wine. I wanted to be a pastry chef (famous for my cakes and decorated cookies).. I am such an all or nothing person.. I have pretty much had to take my focus off of food.. and learn to eat to live.. not live to eat..

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I have gained and lost close to 200 pounds since I had my baby (26 years ago). In 2004 I lost 40 pounds - gained 30 back in 2005 and finally lost 35 in 2006 I am DETERMINED to keep losing an NOT REGAIN -- enough is enough!!!

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? The desire to dive right into a gallon bucket of high quality chocolate ice cream -- I LOVE FOOD and crave sweet and salty and everything in between. I live with a man that only eats to live and has no desire to indulge I only wish I could be like him -- sighs

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? Lowering my calorie intake -- I hover about 2000 a day - would prefer to see it around 1600. Less sugar in my diet. Exercise is definitely 3 times a week I would rather see it minimum 5 days.

I was/am still wearing maternity clothes. I broke down crying to my husband (who is thin and cute) and he encouraged me to join a gym, because I couldn't do it on my own. He is so awesome.

What are your fitness/health goals? I don't want to be thin; thick and curvy yet healthy is the goal. I want to get to a healthy weight and maintain it. Emphasis on the maintaining since I've yo-yo'ed in the past. I'd also love to run some races... 5k's and maybe a marathon someday.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? Ok, really shallow, but I think being heavy was keeping me from meeting men and getting dates. That is shallow! Actually, it hasn't gotten any easier now that I'm smaller, but that was the initial idea.

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? I don't like drinking water, hate eating fruit and although I like veggies, I don't eat enough. The big struggle right now is dealing with a leg injury which is keeping me from the exercise that I'm totally addicted to now.

What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? Drinking water, eating fruits and veggies.

(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than?: I don't have anyone I want to look better than. I'm sure I have other evil motivation if I really think about it though.

What can you not wait to wear when you are at goal weight or size? A bikini! I wore one for the first time last month and I want another one and I want to look cuter in it. Also, I'm wearing jeans in a snug size 12 and I'd like to be more comfy or even a size 10.

My trigger was probably visinting home and realising I had gained 2kg in 6 weeks. I'm naturally so tiny, and it just makes me sick to think how much fat could be covering a fabulous body! Also the moment I became ashamed of letting my lovely boy see my body...I decided i had to change.

Peer Pressure. Giving in to temptation and binging,letting my past unhealthy weightloss habits get to me.
