What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? i just had a baby, and when i went in for my 6 week post natal check up i was 235lbs. i had not lost a pound since giving birth. the weight stayed on until jan, when i was disgusted with myself. i am breast feeding, and decided that i would eat anything i wanted, because the weight was sure to come off. when i got pregnant, i weighed 215lbs. i was comfortable being fat. i haven't weighed 150 since middle school. i know if i don't change now, i will keep going up and up and up...
What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? exercizing, getting complaciant and lazy, just not wanting to look at myself for what and who i am.
What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? 1. i need to commit to an exercize program, and follow through 2. preplanning meals, so i am prepared 3. drinking more water
(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? : i guess i really don't want to end up like my mom
What can you not wait to wear when you are at goal weight or size? a little black dress, and high heels, that don't cause my feet to hurt under 200+lbs of weight!

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? Becoming fat. Actually, I realized I was a manatee one day, seriously. I saw myself in the mirror and I wasn't the weight "I was in highschool"...this was a few months after graduation.
What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? Food, because I bake too damn much of it. I also eat unconsciously. My husband consistently slaps my hand and says "Stop it! You don't know you're eating that!"

What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? So far, it has been okay! I don't feel deprived or anything, but I will say that I miss my fast food! I was a total addict!

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? I didnt really have a trigger. I just decided I was tired of feeling fat. Plus, there's a guy I'm interested in but I just dont have the confidence to go for him now. What really maintains my willpower? I'm not sure. I'm in a wedding in May and that may be a part of it. The bride is my most beautiful friend and I dont want to be the fat bridesmaid. Also, her three older sisters are coming and they were all professional models (One dated Richard Gere). So yeah, a little intimidating.
What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? junk food, especially ice cream. I also get discouraged at how slow it takes.

What was the "trigger" or incident that made you decide it was time to lose weight and become more fit? My clothes were getting tight and at size 18 I had just had it!!! I have a closet full of 3 sizes and want to literally throw out the "big" clothes. Which brings me to the "trigger"....my nephew got married and my older sister is a size 4 with younger sister a size 8 so not only feeling like the "biggest" one in the pictures but looking it too, triggered me. Then when the three sisters got on the dance floor, I thought I was going to have a heart attack....not fun when you're in a room full of "beautiful" people.
What do you struggle with the most on this journey to health? I never get "full" and I love to eat. I'm of German heritage so I love the dumplings, pork and cream dishes and could eat them all day long. I also struggle with planning good healthy meals. DH and I are dieting together and he can eat way more calories than me and lose, not so with me. I have to watch every morsel.
What are three things in the area of diet/exercise you need to improve? Controlling my hunger by not thinking about food all the time. And I definitely need to exercise more often and with my walking routine, I need to go longer and further. My goal is to walk a 10K for breast cancer!
(Evil motivation ) Who do you want to look better than? : My older sister. She's 57 and looks fantabulous! She's not mean about it , tho.
My mother-in-law on the other hand is my other motivation.....thinks being a skeleton is attractive and healthy....NOT! But I'd like to look great to show her you don't have to be too skinny to look good and be attractive.
