StickK to Your Calorie Goal
Does anyone here use the site stickK to give them more motivation to keep to their calorie goals? It's a site where you enter your goals and then you have someone report for you whether you achieve them each week. If you DON'T achieve them, they take a preset amount of money from your bank account and give it to a non-profit you don't like (for example, if you're pro-life, you might choose a pro-choice non-profit). That means if you fail to meet your goals, you're supporting a cause you disagree with.
I've signed up starting Jan 2 for 6 weeks. My goals I have to meet each day are: - Log everything I eat, every day - Eat no more than 2,000 calories on any day. (I expect to average lower than that, but I eat about 2,300 calories a day now, so even 2,000 is a deficit) - Run/jog 200 minutes a week (I'm jogging about 150 minutes a week now) - Lift weights - at least 10 different exercises a week Every week that I don't do all of those things, they will take $10 from my bank account and give it to a non-profit I don't like. |
