Yesterday I barely got 800 calories in (831) I had went right after work to treat myself to a manicure and getting my eyebrows done. By the time I got home I wasn't hungry and it was later then I like to eat anyway so I didn't (I know, bad) Today was a total house cleaning and then I shoveled the drive. I ache right now... Hoping to get in at least 1200 calories today. Tomorrow I do NOTHING!

H'lo all! Whew! What a week! Trying to chillax on a Saturday. Gave the floors and rugs a good cleaning, a must-do with all this snow and sand. (It's such a yucky feeling when sock feet step on crummies and wet spots!) Lots of laundry and work-related stuff ahead yet, AND a trip to the grocers. Hmmm...what kind of new meal food can I get?

I've decided that I can't be bothered for breakfast anymore. Coffee and chocolate milk to help swallow my vitamins. Work was so busy on Friday that I forgot to eat until late. But I managed to get 1080 calories in. 1132cals weekly average. 1055cals since Jan1. Creeping up a bit. I've been eating more and feeling a bit bloaty at times.

What's for dinner, guys? Any good snack ideas?

Good evening everyone! Down 0.4 this morning and I'm at 1471 for calories today which is 271 over! (An extra wrap at dinner time!). Feeling ready for the week, my bf is back from his skiing trip and I got him to weigh himself this morning and I'm now lighter than him!! Very pleased lol.
I've now lost 10lbs since the start of January - can't wait to get to 14lbs gone, my first stone gone!!!

I've started weighing myself everyday which is unusual for me, but I find it highly motivating so I'm gonna keep doing it for now.

Hope everyone had a good weekend :-)

That's great Skinnyki, spring is on the way! I'm in Florida so we get it much sooner, of course.
Wow, less than than your bf! newKate I am going to keep weighing myself everyday because even with the little ups that I have at least I know where I am.

Last night we had Turkish food out. I just threw out a number that it was 700 calories. It was very good, and fun to have something different. Today I had 6" subway turkey sub for lunch. That's a nice option because without any sauce it was only 310 and very filling. They have a good calculator for calories on their website. During the week I pack the same thing everyday because there is no time to go out for anything and school cafeteria is not that great. So I always insist on eating out lunch on the weekends. I should end today around 1300.

Stay strong everyone! One meal at a time. If you go over, just right back on the next meal and no harm done!

2/8: I did not keep a good count yesterday. Made sure to stay under 300 calories until dinner time because I knew drinks would be involved! My mom sent my DH and I out to dinner last night for our Birthdays. (mine 2 weeks ago, DH was yesterday) I only had 2 drinks, and ordered a great salad. But bread sticks and deep fried pickles were also on the table, so I enjoyed Going to keep my calorie count a little lower today than I normally do to balance it out. I did still weigh in today though.. My weeks final is -7.6

1264 calories for today. Noticed that my fat calories were a little high last week. Need to work on that this week.

Newkate - 10 lbs is awesome!
Erin - nice weight loss this week!

Tomorrow starts a new week. Let's make it a good one

And with that, the weekend is over. Starting monday off with my green smoothie in a moment and making up this week's food for the fridge.
I went out to see the Lego movie with the kids this weekend and for the first time in a long time I didn't feel like I was squeezing into my clothes and struggling to put something together. It was really, really nice. Not weighing in until wednesday but it won't surprise me if I put on a lb or two this weekend, I was a bit out of control...

Hello again, skinnyki!
diamond_girl - I hope you had a relaxing weekend
NewKate2014 - Congrats on your recent big loss. You're doing great
SeeMyFeet - Glad to hear you're getting some more cals in! For dinner, I like crockpot lean meats with real ingredients. Balsamic chicken from skinnyms was great, I'll be making it again this week. As for snacks, those are a bit of a doozy for me. I tend to eat extra dark chocolate in place of carrot sticks at the moment. BAD BAD BAD. Tonight will be tenderloin steaks, quinoa and veggies for me, kids & hubby will have mash and veggies with theirs and probably some kind of sauce. The WW cola bbq chicken breasts (crock pot) go well for the week, too. I make about 6 of those up with a big batch of cauliflower mash. I eat it for days on end and it doesn't get old. Sometimes I eat it cold with a tsp of mayo, sometimes I eat it on crackers with some tomato...it's pretty adaptable. I'm also in love with carrot and coriander soup.
CalCounter1003 - I've had a couple of low cal subs recently. I usually wouldn't but things have been a bit hectic and it makes for an easy dinner.
edoetsch1 - Well done! I hope you enjoyed your anniversary dinner as well
abbyin - Fat cals are ok if you're doing a Paleo style diet, yes?
kabaker - Good work!

edoetsch1- good job on sticking with it this long. I am with you on needing to be emotionally ready to lose weight and stick with it, it's a long journey!

NewKate2014- congrats on the weight loss this year, you are doing fabulous, you'll hit that stone in no time.

abbyin- are you trying to limit your fats for any reason, we do need them in our diet! I keep mine around 25% of my diet and am pretty good at hitting that target, it's around 42 grams a day, though when I eat chocolate I go over.

I was under my calories on Saturday by quite a bit, I think I ate less than 1200 which I NEVER do and I ate terribly, had popcorn and chocolate for dinner. I woke up starving on Sunday and spent the rest of the day making up for the calories I didn't eat Saturday. I think I ended up 50 calories over on Sunday, mainly because I went for a couple walks so I had extra calories to work with. So I learned I need to eat my normal 1400 calories min or the next day isn't going to be fun.

I was at 1628 yesterday and the salty chips and lack of water bumped my scale 3 pounds this am (I'm not counting them, I know I didn't gain 3 pounds overnight)

I need to make sure I get my water in on the weekends. I'm bad about drinking water. During the week I drink ~24 oz going to work, ~24 oz at work and ~ 24 oz going home (it's a long commute) at home I'm lucky to get the 8ozs from taking my vitamins in the am.

I'm going to drink water like a mad woman today!!

Hey all! Hope you're all having a good Monday!
I was up 1.4lbs this morning, might be down to the tea and water I drank late last night but still a bit annoyed.
My bf has made me a really swanky spread sheet to track everything, it has loads of cool functions like numbers changing colour and then he got a bit sad when I put loads of bright colours and pictures all over it hehehe.

SeeMyFeet I am loving giant cous cous at the moment - I buy the packs from the supermarket that are flavoured and you just chuck water in it and cook it - yummy and only 171kcal a serving. Great with chicken or salmon.

SkinniKi It feels really spring-like in Scotland today! Sun is shining! Makes me think of summer dresses I want to wear!

DiamondGirl I'm on a water drinking mission at the moment too!! Getting a sore throat at the min so I'm happy to drink it all!
