Hey Lilleth...you found the thread! Glad you're here...I need help counting!

I haven't counted calories from yesterday...not sure I remember everything. Let's just say...not the best day for me. Not a Move-The-Comfy-Chair-In-Front-Of-The-Refrigerator Day, more like a nibble-too-much-and-not-move-around-enough day.

Buttttt....I will add it all up, take my lumps, smack myself on the cheeks a few times, and get back to work.

I don't use MFP, loseit, or fitbit (sounds like something you put in your horse's mouth to help it lose weight). I use an Excel spreadsheet and scribble things down on my Note during the day. Old fashioned, I guess.

I should look into MFP. Sounds like everyone can see your meal plans? I could use some more

Yesterday ended not so good:
2,066 steps
1,670 calories burned
1,469 calories eaten
299 calories over
only 16 oz water

But today I'm back on track for good, I'm even going to stay on track new years eve! I've got to make this my way of eating for life!!!

MFP is My Fitness Pal. It's a website that you can use to keep track of calories, like an online food diary. There's also a forum and challenges and similar stuff that you'll find here. A lot of people don't find it as supportive as 3FC is. I primarily use it to track calories but have started to sign up for challenges as I'm finding 3FC to be less active than it used to be.

SeeMyFeet- it's up to you whether your diary either food or exercise is open or not. You can set it to complete private so you're the only one who can see it, you can set it so that only your friends can see it or you can have it open so that anyone can see it. It's entirely up to you. I've got a bunch of excel files too, including one for my diet, however I like it because it's got a huge database of food. If you're not entirely sure of the calorie content of an item it likely has it. It even has a ton of the Korean food that I eat on a regular basis that I wouldn't be able to guess what the nutritional content was.

I finished yesterday at 1652 and according to fitbit I burned 2224. I'd like to keep my difference above 500 so I hit that goal. I'm going to try and stick to a healthy diet today however I know I'm going to have an extra drink or two tonight, hopefully I don't do too much damage!

Hope everyone has a great New Years Eve.

Changer girl, good idea on listing it with one calorie.
When I add the exercise and put the time I did it then it subtracts out the fitbit calories, which are always less. I'm still playing with it.

Been doing pretty well with sticking to calories. We are having a little get together for New Year's Eve so I'll be on my feet all night, and will have champagne and cheese, crackers, etc.

Happy New Year!

Congrats on the loss Skelley! woohoo!

My my...it's here...the last day of the year...how'd that happen?

Well it hasn't been the best week for me. Average of 1500cals for the past 7 days. ouch! But the 30day average is still in the 1200s. With rain in Philadelphia.

New Year's Resolution Day. I feel should make a looooong list. I will make time today for serious reflection on last year's resolutions and make some resolutions that I will be sure to keep. (I do have several unbroken from last year!)

Happy New Year everyone! Looking forward to losing in this new year and getting ready for Spring/Summer. Im glad and proud of myself for starting this journey in September 13. Now I have a slight advantage than the people who are just starting today. I feel blessed and excited to see what the new year will bring.

No weight loss or gain stead consistent thru the Holidays. So I really couldn't ask for anything more. I was able to indulge a little in the Holiday treats but just didnt go overboard. Is time now to add some exercising and weights into the mix now. Heres to a blessed and healthy year everyone.

Went overboard last night with champagne, cheese, crackers, chips, brownies and more. I wasn't exactly sure how to even input into MFP, so I just put in some of it. I was up 1.5 lbs from yesterday but I know it's just a temporary gain because I didn't eat 4500 calories over! Feels good to realize that instead of getting mad and throwing in the towel.

WooHoo!! 2014, Babee!!

This will be the Best YEAR EVER for me!! Why? 'cause it's all up to me. How I feel about the upcoming year is all in my head--how I handle things, how I do things, how I react to things. It's all up to me. I'm not dependent on anyone for income, for career choice, for my cleanliness standards, for what I put in my mouth or how sedentary I am. It's all up to me. And I'ma gonna get *things* done!

(Hey....it's Jan 1.....gotta expect a little muscle flexing, especially on a site like this!)

Calories yesterday: 730. Yummy salads. (Obviously, I stayed away from the FireWater ) But feeling a bit of misery....tried adding psyllium.....major mistake....

again! I'm so happy about the New Year--an umblemished page, a fresh start. Let's do good, ladees!
