I'm so annoyed - had a fantastic few days where I seemed to lose a pound every day, but now it's stalled and I've been the same weight for 4 days. Just gotta keep on plugging. I know it'll drop soon - I've been super good.

Weightloss has been the most difficult thing ever for me. I love food and eating. I love the social part of it and the emotional bandaid. I have had lots of therapy while doing this which for me, is why I have successful this time.

1407 for me yesterday, but I stopped my emotional eating there. Didn't open the boys box of twinkies and hunker down over them. So that's good. Also the scale says I'm at 160.4 so I lost 2.8 lbs this week. Always a good way to keep me from over eating. Great job on the loss Edoetsch. I understand the emotional bandaide Abbi.

Although I haven't been super good, I'm down another 2lbs from my weigh in 8 days ago. I have been conscious of what I'm eating for the most part, I'm in my little rut so what's in the fridge is usually healthy.

Sorry for the drive by posting today. I just wanted to say I'm not giving up! Just being a little looser than I was for the first 20lbs. I know I shouldn't be and I need to try harder. I'm just SO drained. 3 hours sleep each night for the last...I don't know how long.

I'm 1/3 of the way there, I can do this two more times.

Ugh. Friday and Saturday were pretty not good. Costco Poutine on Friday, Mud Pie on Saturday. Sunday was right on plan though, and I have most of the rest of the week planned out so I should be good to go!

Congratulations on all the success' out there!
Silverfire, I can relate. Yesterday was not the best day for me either - had a few too many glasses of wine PLUS a piece of cheesecake for desert. I was at almost 1700 calories for the day.
However, Saturday was GREAT! I did almost 9000 steps. DH and I went on a long walk as it was such a beautiful day. Also, yesterday I didn't do as many steps but did work out in my garden a bit and cleaned up one flowerbed. My tulips are up about 4 inches!
I'm going to be VERY good today to make up for that cheesecake.

Calorie counting is now becoming very routine for me. I love all the new recipes I am trying. My fitness pal has been huge in helping me figure out calories in recipes. Tonight its shredded BBQ Chicken!

1227 cals for me yesterday. Made pork chop medallions with garlic/tomato/caper sauce. My DS ate Four! (but they were small cuts) And I ate 2 with veggies. That was all i had for dinner, but a bit late in the day, so the weigh-in this morning was up.

My trajectory right now calculates to a 1lb loss every 5 days, or 1.4lb per week. It's consuming a lot of brain power to lose at this fairly low rate....I hope hope hope I can keep it up for as long as I need to....One week at a time.

I hear ya on the lack of sleep, Paisleymama. I'm usually struggling for sleep for the first three quarters of the year.....not so much this weekend because I went on strike (to help improve my head cold). My weekend routine helped me feel better, but also made me severely dread Munday.

Let's get through this week together, ladeeees!!

Hey all, sorry for going AWOL over the weekend, I was mega busy!
Had a pretty good weekend, after running Saturday morning I kept on calorie track all weekend including eating out! (Minus the haggis which yeah diamond girl is definitely an acquired taste!)
Today I ran 4.5k after work (-533kcal according to mapmyrun, not sure I trust it on its calorie burn to be honest, anyone have an opinion?) and I'm at just over 1200 kcal on my intake.
Not going to run tomorrow but I'll run on Wednesday :-) trying to stick to just Monday, Wednesday, Saturday at the moment and I'll up that later on.

Weigh in tomorrow morning, really hoping for a loss!

seemyfeet going slow will definitely be worth it!

Edoetsch BBQ chicken sounds awwwweesome!

Diamond girl, wow 2.8 in a week is great! Great job ignoring the twinkees. Those wouldn't tempt me at all, but chocolate, eeek!

Edeotisch, my spell checker keeps fixing your name on my iPad, so ignore any weird spellings! It's awesome that you are in a calorie counting routine and finding new recipes! Although I'm sort of in a little rut on making the same things right now, they are all new as of when I started this journey in July. MyFitnessPal is great and although it feels like overkill somedays to list everything it is so helpful. Even when I go over by a lot I list it on MFP because it will still show that you will have a loss in five weeks.

Silverfire, I had never heard of that Costco food. Looked it up, oh my, sounds dangerous. I stay away from their snack bar because when I gained 20 pounds in a few months last year I had started eating those vanilla bars with chocolate on them from Costco. Can't even imagine the calories on those! Although that was just a sliver of what I was eating. .

Paisley, yay! You can do it! That sounds like a good way to look at your journey, you are 1/3 there, even further actually! And if you are starting to feel good now, imagine how the next few pounds will feel.

Abbi, I think most of us can relate to those feelings. When I'm on a gaining spree I know exactly what I'm doing. I had some major stress the beginning of last year and in 2011 and I knew I was eating out of stress which wasn't solving a single thing. But I didn't have any other coping mechanisms. I am using walking to cope now. One day at a time!

Even though I'm trying to not have artificial sweeteners the one thing I am enjoying is a diet hot chocolate, 25 cals and I usually put in a little sugar free whip cream. That along with hot tea, is helping curb my appetite. I've found some great teas that I don't need to add anything to. Today was good for me but I need to mix up my meals more. Having said that I pretty much have the week planned out and it's the same almost as last week, oops.

The lack of sleep came to bite me in the @$$ this morning. We were all late and now it's thrown the day off. Tonight's dinner is steak and vegetables. I'm a big fan of light cuts of red meat so it's a good day. Lots of boiled eggs, carrots & fruit in the fridge. Off to make my smoothie shortly. I logged into MFP this morning as well.

Silverfire - Glad you've got your plan for the week, it's always easier not having to guess or think about what you're eating.

kaarin - Good job on the activity! I love tulips, I wish I had a garden to work in!

edoetsch1 - Sounds yummy! I have shredded chicken nearly every day, haha. I do the weight watchers version, cook up 8 breasts and I'm good to go.

SeeMyFeet - Well done! I only lose 1-2lbs a week but it all adds up!

NewKate2014 - I love my polar watch, it's nice to get some accuracy. Though I wouldn't mind a fitbit. Do you have anything with a heart rate monitor?

CalCounter1003 - I try not to artificially sweeten as well but I DO have a diet coke or two a day. Eventually I will cut that out but it's amazing how sweet natural items taste after a while. Some things are super sweet to me now and my DH says I'm crazy!
