Daily check in: Were you under your calories today?
We need to get this calorie counting forum jumping!!!!..I need some motivation here people hardly ever post under this thread. So I will begin! Post random things abt calorie intake ..did you have a good day ..bad day ect..
Yesterday was bad! It was my daughter birthday so I ate a light breakfast and a small salad for lunch. I was saving some room so that I could enjoy something good for dinner with her..She picked Chinese and I picked the worst thing on the menu shrimp fried rice and fried chicken wings..ask me why I dnt knw but I was starving by the time it came for dinner I disnt eat all rhe rice and I shared the wings but I knw I was over my calories and the sodium alone can cause me to gain. .got on the scale this morning and I had gained .4 oz not too bad but I dnt want to see a gain at all I just got over the TOM and waited patiently thru that bs now this..smh but it could of been worse. So time to get serious no more sneaky meals..Thwre is no more birthdays this month so I should be ok and if there are more birthdays I wont be participating in them. Onward march!!!!! I need to lose 7lbs before Halloween so I have no time to play games
So far I have been coming in under my calorie allotment. But not anything crazy, 96 calories here, 60 calories there. However, I realized by Friday, I had enough saved up with those little amounts, that I could splurge a little and go out to eat with my husband, being mindful, of course, not to go hog wild.
Today I saved up a big chunk for dinner tonight at my Mother-in-laws.
Yesterday I was under my calories and today I will end up somewhere around 1400 cal. It is a sushi night! I had 300 cal lunch and nothing else (I skip bfast every day, I can not stomach it)....so I allocated 1100 cals for dinner.
I did walk nearly 5 miles and lifted weights for 40 minutes, so earned some calories from exercise as well.
Great job Sum38!!!! Im having a hard time today...im bored and hungry even tho I just ate..I must be strong and try eating protein hopefully that will make me feel fuller...have fun with sushi night!!!
Yes !! I finally found something to curb my cravings and fairly low cal. Mens Health has an article called Eat this not that! Well it has a list of fast food options that are low in calories. I opted for the kfc 3 crispy chicken strips with corn and green beans. .485 calories! And im full and satisfied and with all the snacking I did today im still under my calories for the day
I understand Sum38 I am the same way with Chinese. Yesterday for me was rough but I made it and lost a pound! Now planning my meals for today trying to decide what to cook for dinner. Hope everyone have a great day!!!
Thats great make believe sometimes passing ont he drinks is the hardest. As far as myself weekends are always challenging for me. I went over calories I usually do on Sundays, but im not going to beat myself up too much I hope the scale is friendly in the am.
