I don't think it's stress so much(although I've been crazy-busy) but I was thinking that my metabolism may have slowed while I was injured for those few weeks. Perhaps, my wiggle room in my calorie limit decreased and I just have to be more vigilant about sticking to lower cal limits until I get back on track? I really hope it's not stress b/c I am heading into a very stressful week this week, even busier than last week. I am planning some crock-pot meals to keep me from resorting to restaurant foods. I am also making an effort to reduce the added sodium in my diet, just because it's a good idea. I am in the middle of treating some urinary issues so perhaps, that's a contributing factor too? If all else fails, my Doc will know what to do.

Hi all! I think I have yet to join this challenge, which is pretty sad LOL!
Things have been really crazy here and I had a few weeks off the pony. I honestly didn't do too bad since the highest I went was 151, in the past I might of slid even further!
Getting things back in line I'm hovering back at 149.5. I hope to be around 148 by the end of the week. I seem to have gotten my determination back that I needed in order to get those last 8-10lbs knocked out.
So, I know there's only a couple of days left so my goal for the end is 148.5 or 148 and to keep up with my exercise this week!

Keep up the awesome work guys!!

Hey those wooshes are great. I had my first one on Sunday.

Not so good with the running & swimming. I tried on a swimsuit in a shop & just did not feel at all confident / comfortable. Also, my bike got stolen last week, so all my money is going on a new one - nothing now spare for a bit for running shoes / swimming fees! It really sucks, but I think the new bike will definitely help me pick up speed with the cycling. The other stuff will come in time! I really do appreciate all the encouragement I get on here, though - it makes a huge difference.

Hi all. Just checking in. I have been weighing my foods out and I have been apparently been way off on portions. Time for me to get back to using my kitchen scale so I can see that bathroom scale move!

Hi. Back down the mid-190s for no reason at all....I have been taking an antibiotic for a bacterial infection, wonder if that infection was also causing bloat? 3 lbs dropped off within 2 days on meds....but I guess it could just be some random wonky water fluctuation too. I'll have to wait and see what the next few days brings. Eating and exercise are going ok here.

Two days left for the challenge and I am down 6lbs, 4 short of my goal. I suppose I could hope for a big whoosh, but either way I am fairly happy since I had a huge stall this month.

Gonna workout hard the next two days and drink tons of water-lol!

Good luck everyone!

169.5 this morning so it looks like there is no hope of making the June goal. Oh well, there is always July.

Yeah this challenge has been challenging. It definitely gets harder when you get closer to goal.

I am back down to my ticker weight this morning. The bloated tummy has shrunken back down. Looks like I will break even for the month. The antibiotic has seemingly diminished my appetite while taking out the bloat but I doubt any wonders are going to happen overnight. What an odd month!

Didn't have the chance to check in last week as we were on vacation, but over the two weeks I'm down 5 pounds! Even after restaurant eating & zero calorie counting (just trying to be good) for almost a week, I'm still down. Phew.

It's so nice to have hit and moved beyond the 20 pounds lost mark. It gives me faith I can actually do this. I still have a long way to go, but to paraphrase the old Virginia Slims campaign: I've come a long way, baby!

We're down to the wire here with essentially one full day left in the challenge!!

I'm going to come close to goal~
My June Goal
Start 213
End 203
Current 204.8

Just a thought~ those of us who are experiencing hot weather may be retaining some extra fluid so don't get discouraged if you're doing everything right but the scales aren't budging!
