Default Today and Yesterday

Man, oh man, those little jelly beans got me yesterday too! And my work was having an event with all these wonder little fried things. YUM! But ---oh no----offf diet again. Oh well, I decided to NOT feel guilty about it----and just decided to keep trying and eating a healthy diet now.

I have been on 3fatchicks before, and I always wander away from it, and I guess I shouldn't until I start to feel comfortable with the food I eat. I need to keep track of it, I guess:

Breakfast: Kashi, Banana, milk (300)
Lunch: Snackwells Peanut Butter Cereal Bar(serious YUM) (160), Orange (70)
Snack: Peanut Butter with Apple (340)
Dinner: stuffed red pepper soup 2 servings (400)

Total: About 1500

CIELOARGE - How is that apple diet going? How does it work? Do you have links about it? I think it sounds cool.

Hey! It's going better than I thought it would. Today i have a little headache, but that has to be from the lack of coffee... Tomorrow is my last day. Somehow my skin does feel better. Hopefully I can get rid of some gallstones, but it's hard to believe till you see it. Even if it doesn't work it still makes me feel better, not bloated or yucky feeling

Here is some more info on it

Today was interesting. I didn't move as much as I would have liked too, but I did make it to the gym for some

I'm still hungry, but I'm opting for bed. DH reminded me that our anniversary is tomorrow-yes, I have to be reminded I don't keep up with dates very well. So, we will eat out tomorrow. GREAT! Just what I need to ruin this week!

CIELOARGE: Thx for this link on apple detox. I may try this next week to prepare for my 1/2. I will be reducing the runs/workouts and I need something to take all of this extra bloat off of me before the race! That would be SUPERB!

Default Day 8

CIELOARGE: That's super cool! I always wondered about detoxes, thanks for sending me this link!!

K9OWNER: That's cool you are doing a half marathon, right? I was recently training up to one but I hurt my foot and had to sit out my race. :-( It's no big deal though, because I have done some before. I am actually trying to do a marathon come October, and I am hoping to join a marathon running club in the next few weeks. I love running clubs, awesome way to meet new friends and do long runs in a safe manner. Good luck with your run!!!!!

Here's my calories for today, I did a great job yesterday!!! The first great job of staying on my diet of many :

Breakfast: Kashi (140), banana (100), milk (130)

Lunch: Orange , Stuffed Pepper Soup (260)

Dinner: Asian Edamame Fried Rice - 2 Servings (404)

Snack: Apple with Jiffy Peanut Butter to-go (330)

I was surprised that I didn't get too hungry yesterday, I think it's because I have being eating a bunch of fiber!!!!! It def helps with overcoming the hunger feelings all day. I am will always start a diet day with either some kashi cereal of a breakfast burrito with a whole wheat tortilla. It's just easier to fight off the food cravings all day. :-D

Angry

Hookay so...
BAD yesterday!!! I could blame my DH (he was all stressed getting a cake ready for his co-workers birthday that he wante dto do himself, and kept nixing all my ideas for dinner. So finally I say "fine you decide what we are having if you dont want anything I suggest". He ordered freaking dominos pizza!) I could very well have said "thanks but no thanks" but instead I ate 3 pieces AND had 3 pieces of cheesy bread. . I dont know why I do this too myself. . But it makes me so mad at myself!!! I counted every last ugly calorie that I ate yesterday and quite frankly I am horrified and embarrassed, I dont think I will write it out here. I am sorry because I know this is exactly what this forum is for. Accountability. But I am choosing to just say it was over 2000 calories and it was BAD.

Well I suppose this is where I dust myself off and make the rest of the week so OP stellar that I can avoid a gain on monday. Thank God I ran 9 miles yesterday. Not that it can erase the awful overeating, and I really need to stop letting long runs become excuses for having food I shouldnt have. Also I need to count calories before I eat them. I didn't add up the pizza debacle until this morning. If I had sat down and put in the calories for the food I was eating before it actually passed the lips I KNOW I would have made some better choices.

This is something I am going to try from now on. Logging the foods before I eat the foods. Maybe I can avoid repeating last night anytime soon....

Today is my last day and I can't wait for it to be over!!!
Last night was craaazy! Thought about giving up the whole thing a couple dozens of times, but I didn't!!! And today I feel great, bt ready to get it done. I am craving shrimp with steam veggies... Yummmmm

I think after this I will try I.F. I would still count calories but most likely I will have 2-3 meals. I want to go wit Fast5 from 3-8 Sun-Thu and after 5pm on Fri and Sat... Will se how that works, it seems less planning and being able to enjoy bigger meals...

wannabe -- blech, I hate when that happens! You plan and you plan and then someone throws in a monkey wrench and it's sooo hard to resist. Best you can do is pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start over again the very next meal. Easier said than done but . . . sometimes one meal at a time is what has to be done to get back OP. Good luck!

Is it that you are sick of apples? or that you are just craving different food?
I really would like to try this. I'm not really that much into apples--I mean I could eat them or not. I never crave them & sometimes they make me hungry when I eat them!
I'll never know if I don't try it.
How exactly do you feel after doing it?
Is there a reduction in water weight or do you weigh every day?

DH and I decided to go sightseeing for our anniversary. It was supposed to be a hiking trip for a couple days, but he didn't get off Wednesday in time for us to go where I had planned. We ended up going to this very small state park in Arkansas.
The town we went through was very small and lunch was limited. So….. drumroll pls (dum dum dum) it was!!!

1/2 Zuzana's Banana Berry Pancakes, 1/2 Cheese Omelet, Trail Mix: 572
& : ~1320
Total: 1892

K9 Hike: 87
Water: 64 oz

I messed up my whole friggin week! I was down to 145.4 this a.m. before this d@mn episode!
GRRRR I just wanna be done with this stupid addiction. Next time, I wonder if I can get a choice?
Last yr, it was cake--now I need it to be celery or carrots!!

Loose seal- thanks for the encouragement. And you are 100% right.

I did let it carry a little bit into today . But I feel ok calorie wish. For now I have decided to try to stick between 1500 and 2000, reserving the 2000 calorie days for ones I workout vigourously. I know that this wont result in the level of weight loss I would like, but I need to get a grip, and maybe if I start out a little more lax and focus on the healthy changes I am trying to make for now, I can really get things under control and get my calorie counts lower here soon.

Breakfast: Left over slice of veggie pizza (heres the carry over)- 210 cals

Lunch- Grapes, Morning Star farms meatless riblet, banana-523 cals

Dinner- Grilled salmon, butter roasted asparagus, baby red potato, 1 piece blueberry crisp, glass red wine-1017

Snack- 1/4 greek yogurt and grapes-71 cals

Total=1821

Excercise: 2.1 mile run, 19:54 time burned 246 cals

Default Friday April 13th

Alrighty so today is a weightlifting day and one more longer run before I need to let my body recover next week. (1/2 marathon is a week from saturday). I'll probably try for 1800-2000 range today to ensure i am fueling up enough. Plus I'll have my post lifting protien shake.

Anyways off to a good start!

Breakfast- Hard boiled egg, Smoothie made of: Banana, mixed frozen fruit, 94 g spinach (this is alot!! yay) 1/2 cup vanilla rice milk, and 1 packet stevia- 317 cals

Did a nine mile run and finished in 1:45.26 secoonds. My fitness pal says I burned 1100 calories, but my garmin says I burned 985. I'll err on the side of caution and say 950 cals burned. Ugh seriously. This is why calories in are so much more vital than calories out. Almost 2 hours of busting my butt and I burn just shy of 1000 calories. But eating 1000 calories, yeah easy peasy.... Anyways goal is 2000 today since it was a long run.

Lunch- Crispy fish taco (shared an order so I only had 1) and 16 oz IPA beer (my running reward...yum)- 551 cals

Dinner and snacks- Homemade salmon cakes (lots of veggies and oatmeal in lieu of break crumbs), large spinache salad with an extra large hard boiled egg, almonds and craisins and light italian dressing, apple drink- 1156

Total (so far)-2024 cals

This mornings weight- 180.0*

*After some consideration and advice from awesome 3fc memebers I have decided to start daily weighing right away.
