Welcome joyful retiree and Liliann!! We're glad to have you on the calorie intake thread

So I've really been feeling better about my plan and thinking about food less since I stopped planning ahead. It's weird because a few months ago when I wasn't planning, starting to plan felt SO good. I guess it just goes to show that we're constantly changing and what works today may not work tomorrow. We just have to sort of "know ourselves" and what we need. Who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll need the structure of planning again lol!

Today:
6:30AM:
Trix cereal = 120
130g skim milk = 45
Gum X 2 = 10

11:00AM:
-Cheerios = 100
-Gum X 2 = 10

1:00PM:
-Cocoa Roast almonds = 100
-Gum X 2 = 10

4:00PM:
-Cheese crackers = 130
-Sm apple = 50
-Gum = 5

6:00PM:
-3 Turkey meatballs = 180
-Green beans with almonds = 120
-Pita = 60
-3 slices turkey = 30
-Laughing cow = 35
-Chocolate vita brownie = 100
-Sm apple = 50
-Popsicle = 15
-Gum X 5 = 25

Total = 1195

lunch: 6 inch oven roasted chicken on wheat from subway, 390
half a bag of light lays, 35
apples w/caramel dip, 70

snack: 2 mini twix, 160

dinner: great value lean cafe pepperoni pizza w/a sprinkle of extra cheese, 400

total: 1055

Way better (: Buttt I'm leaving in the morning to go on a mini 3 day vacay to St. Louis. My fiance has already made it clear that we are def going to California Pizza Kitchen and there is no way my willpower will win in the battle with the bbq chicken pizza. But wish me luck that I don't go too crazy and come back home 9 million pounds heavier lol. But anyway, I won't be posting again till Saturday so hope you ladies have a fabulous rest of the week (:

I live around STL and CPK is so yummy! Beware of that BBQ chicken pizza tho- the regular size has 1200 calories!!! Maybe just eat a piece and then have a cup of soup or half salad. In my opinion the BBQ Chicken chop salad is even better than the pizza!! A half salad still has like 570 calories, but a lot more nutrients.

Hubby and I went apple picking this past weekend and we got over 30(!) pounds of small, YUMMY apples so I think the apples will be a recurring theme here. Apples tend to leave me hungry half an hour later (the carbs/sugar realllly do that to me), but eating it with some fat has really helped with that!

Hope everyone is doing well!

I may have time for a work out tonight too if me and hubby don't make plans. I have a baby shower tomorrow so I'm going to eat a really like bfast/lunch so I can have a small slice of cake!

Hi all! How is everyone's Saturday going? Yesterday hubby and I went to visit some friends out of state and I planned all my food through the snack I have before dinner. After that I had to estimate a bunch of stuff so I didn't end up logging it all, just kept mental note. I did really well, though

Here's today:
8:30AM
-Grits w/ 2 splendas = 110
-Gum X 1 = 5

11AM
-Pita pocket = 60
-2 TBSP hummus = 50
-3 carrots = 70
-Gum X 1 = 5

12PM
-Sm coffee w/ 3 splendas = 20
-Gum X 1 = 5

1:30PM:
-Cocoa roast almonds = 100
-Sm apple = 45
-Sprite zero = 5

3:30PM:
-3 blueberry and cinnamon muffins = 360 (I was in the baking mood )

5:30PM:
-Baked chicken breast = 130
-Steamed red and yellow sweet peppers, broccoli, and carrots = 100
-Non fat frozen yogurt = 100
-Sprite zero X 2 = 10
-Gum X 5 = 25

Total:1200

We're going to the movies tonight and I wish I had planned the popcorn that I keep at home into the day (which I would then sneak in lol) but I didn't and I've had plenty of carbs anyway so oh well. Let's all stay on plan this weekend!
