I didn't reach my goals for last challenge but this challenge is perfect for me. Only 30 days until I am home in the states and seeing my family and friends for the first time in a year and a half and 100lbs lighter.
My goals for this challenge:
*275lbs
*3 days week with personal trainer
*30 days on plan eating, sleeping, water, exercise
My goal is to get to 216, which gets me out of class 2 obesity. Like a lot of you, I will be away from home a lot between now and July 4th (I'm done with work for the summer in two weeks...yippee!!), but I think 8 lbs is doable.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for having these challenges
Count me in! I've never done a CC challenge before, but I'm working hard on finally losing all the weight I regained when I got pregnant! I'm not going to set my sights too high, because weight loss is MUCH tougher this time around, and I don't want to get discouraged if I don't reach my goal. So here it is:
Hello my CC friends! I promise i will try and stay commented this time to the challenge. I was a real slacker in the last challenge and didn't make my goal, actually i went in the other direction
My goal is simple...TO STAY ON PLAN AND NOT GIVE IN TO CRAVINGSOR EMOTIONAL EATING! and to lose 7lbs
Congratsto everyone in the last challenge...you guys reallyROCKED IT!
Of course, I'm back in!!! I'm really excited for this challenge because this challenge is the closest one to my bday. It's the 17th of July, but I really want to kick butt and treat myself with a new dress for my birthday dinner or whatever I end up doing. I'm going to weigh in officially tomorrow but here are my goals:
- Lose 15 pounds, at the minimum. I know if I really stick to it this time I will be able to achieve it. I did 9 pounds this challenge and that was with me screwing up a few of the weeks right in the middle.
- drink my 90-100 ounces of water everyday
- do my 30DS every single day (except for the days I will be in Chicago, I don't think my friend would be very happy if I had to put our activities on hold to do 30DS in the hotel room! haha)
-do another 40 minutes of cardio 6 out of 7 days.
-not get too mad at myself if I slip up every once in a while
-stay under 1400-1500 calories a day.
well i think that should be it. I will weigh in tomorrow and figure out actual goal specifics then.
I'm in too!! It's crunch time before the family reunion.
My goals:
1. Drink 2 liters of water everyday...again
2. Fit in the size 14 jeans that I can't come close to zipping right now, I think they come above my hips. If there's a muffin it's ok too
3. Get my daily workouts in at all cost and rest on Sunday.
These are pretty lofty goals for me this time around with my new work schedule but I'm pressing in.

Here it is, first day of the challenge and already my goal is looking too difficult! I've been stuck at 141 the past few days- but I'm trying to stay positive. I had a few foods that, although they were in my calorie guidelines, I shouldn't have eaten them. I also broke my no eating for 3 hours before sleep on my break day- but I was so exhausted I just forgot about it.
Oh well, back on plan today! I have a staff meeting this morning so I didn't exercise first thing but will as soon as I'm back. I'm working in a house that doesn't always have healthy meals tonight- so I'm hoping I'll be able to find something to munch on!
I'm going to really kick it up for the remainder of Slim in 6- I had been doing so well but Saturday and my break day threw me off. But we all have to get back on/stay on that horse!
Ok so 7:45am and I'm preparing for my CLEP test in American Government. It's at 9am. This it it guys.....90min 100 questions for $100 to get out of my last 3 credits to get my diploma! Oh dear lord I hope I pass it. That's all I need to completely finish the last chapter in my life to move on to the next! NO PRESSURE!
Weight was alright this morning, I'm down .2 which is expected, I need to drink more water and get down some bloat..still within my range though.
Farn, KDM, Lori, Misspriss: Thanks ladies! I worked hard to look good that day, i wanted to look back years from now and love what I saw! Thanks again ladies and btw you ladies are looking hot yourselves!
Lori: you do have that body....seriously you've got the legs just put on some heals and strut! lol
I'm glad to see everyone is back for another challenge. Sorry to keep this short I will post later when I get back with hopefully great news! BTW I feel this will get me jobs because I can officially say to the employers that I have my diploma and they can call the School to confirm.....PRAY!
have a great day ladies!
Today i plan on getting in a full body weight workout. Forecast calls for evening thunderstorms this whole week, BLAH! so my evening walks aren't going to happen. Guess i could get on the treadmill..
Lori-Love your new avatar pic girl...
JD-you are going to ROCK that test...just breath and it will be ok.
Jiggle-Im sure you will be in that size 14 in no time...your doing awesome!!!
Hello to everyone i missed and WELCOME to everyone new to the challenge! This is a great group of ladies!!1
ok, im off to make some breakfast and get the workout in. Have a great day girls
Hi! For last challenge I lost 7 pounds and for this one I will try to lose 5 pounds to be at 155 by July 4. I do not know if it is a realistic goal because I will be 2 weeks on Argentina tempted by all my childhood food and I really do not know how I will behave traveling. I also want to be size 10 by July 4th.
to all!!!
And here we go, ladies! By the time we reach July 4th (my 46th anniversary by the way ) , I want to have lost 8 more lbs., and be more flexible from working out in the pool and walking in the morning! I'm in my sixties so have to start exercise programs a little more gently than you young exercise MACHINES! This diet period will encompass a visit from family in a couple of weeks, and my birthday so it won't be the easiest time to do it, but then when is easy, right?
Best wishes to you all on this new Challenge! Let's rock it ...
jdonato, best of luck on your test!!!

Welcome to any newbies!! This is a really fun and motivating group to join!!
Hope everyone is starting the new challenge off with a bang! Like jiggle said, it's crunch time for me too. I have a Chicago vacation in 27 days, and shortly after the end of this challenge, my bday. So I'm going to be taking this challenge very seriously! I weighed in this morning at 253, so I plan to make my goal 238, that's 15 pounds. Same as last time and I said I wasn't going to make my goal harder, but I figure if I make it easier than that will be a crutch for me. The same should work. let's see how this goes! Here's to an awesome challenge for all of us and amazing results!!
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I PASSED! As Farn and Jiggle said I'm starting this challenge out with a BIG BANG! This day marks the start of a new chapter in my life. I finally get my diploma and nothing is holding me back from living my life!
Farn and Misspriss: Thanks ladies! it helped alot today for your support!
Today I plan going grocery shopping and getting all healthy stuff for the bf and I and cooking a great dinner tonight..maybe chicken and shrimp kabobs with lots of veggies and asparagus!? Then I'm cleaning the whole house for a fresh start! and I will be spending some MUCH NEEDED time with the bf. He's been kinda dancing around me just waiting for me to finish the test. The man was a maniac last night....he prepared dinner and I mean everything cooked and all...he grilled steak, made bake potatoes..fully loaded, asparagus, and even dessert! All so I could have a good meal and study...that's what makes me love him and understand when he has stressful times..it's all worth it! Sorry I'm so just happy today!...I'm in tears!..just the start of my life and finally accomplishing my goals! This challenge I will work my tookiss off !
Ladies I hope you have the best day ever like me and Good Luck with everything!
