Default Online Calorie counters

Hi everyone.
Well I havent been on here in a while. You see I was on here about 1.5 years ago and during that time I was pretty healthy and on my way to my goal weight. Then I got the 'flu'. I was sick and feeling so blah that I had to stop my spinning classes. I couldnt eat well, the only thing i could keep down was carbs!!! Nightmare, well little did I know...I was Pregnant!
So here I am, my son is a gorgeous 6 month old and I need to loose 15 lbs to get back to where I was. Up till now the weight came off all by itself but I think I need to get serious about these 15 lbs.

Here's my question: I cant remember what online free calorie counting program I liked best. Can those of you that use one tell me which you prefer and why.

Thank you so much for your help. Good luck on your journeys!!

I love sparkpeople.com, you can track your calories, nutrients and exercise. I do it everyday.

I am in love with the Daily Plate at Livestrong! It is so helpful, and has a lot of the food entries for the foods you eat everyday. The other thing I like on there is the fact that it can calculate your calories based on the amount of weight you want to lose. I tried Sparkpeople before, but wasn't in love with its layout. I think you're doing the best thing though by trying different calorie counting website because that way you can see what you like best. Remember that in the end, the website will do nothing for you if you never use it because you don't like it.

I have tried dozens, but found most of them lacking in one area or another. Currently I am on CalorieCount, and I love it! It's much easier for me to use than SparkPeople, it gives me grades on my eating and activities. I just have to be careful and recognize when the foods they list are wrong. It doesn't happen often but it is something to be aware of. Also, like most calorie counters, their approximations of calories burned during exercise is way off.

I use My Fitness Pal. I've tried a lot of others but I found this one the easiest and the most enjoyable to use.

http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/.

I used it for nutrient tracking before I decided to tackle weight loss and it really works well for me.

I use Fitday and I used to love it. I still "like" it but I have found that spark people and the daily plate have so many more items in their data base. With Fitday, you really have to watch their calculations for vegetables because they often assume there has been fat added during cooking. I still use Fitday because I have 150 items logged as custom foods already and I would hate to have to switch that all over to another site

Daily Plate, that's the name of the one I used to use! I couldn't remember LOL.

So far I have been just quickly logging onto a site (i.e. Fatsecret, Calorieking...) and checking the calorie amount of a certain item for the day. I haven't yet chosen a site to use daily so that I can track my cals. nutrition etc...
I think I will re- try Daily Plate. I remember really liking it.
Thank you for all the tips

I'm another CalorieCount person, I love it
Most people there are so supportive and informative, plus they have tools and ask columns
