1 month... i'd like to be 185. Also make sure i am getting all my training in properly for the Monument Ave 10K that i am doing March 27th.
I am also trying to build more upper body strength. I'd like to be able to do 5 weight assisted pull ups, with 20 lbs less assistance that i am using now.
Well, calorie wise I am doing well... did not do any formal exercise... But I did groom my mare, and my arms were burning by the time it was all said and done. That girl must have plastered herself in mud. ICK!
I see there are two challenges running. I think I will continue to post in this one, as I am already subscribed. And we may all be newish-but you have to start somewhere, right!?
I'm in!! I want to be down 20 pounds by March 17th! I will be leaving that day for Mexico, so I have another great motivator~!! I want to continue to exercise 5-6 days out of the week, at least 30 minutes per time. Stay under 1500 calories a day and drink around 70 ounces of water every day.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY!!!! Let's kick some FAT!!!!!
The morning is going well so far. I had my protein smoothie for breakfast, my cheerios for snack and been chugging down the water. I will be going to the gym in bout an hour.
This is going to be a great month and we are all going to meet our goals.
Back from the gym and I was hitting it hard. I actually ran good. I kept telling myself I could do 15 more seconds so I lasted a lot longer. I'm feeling good about this challenge.

I'm still in! Doing pretty well staying OP but having some scale issues so no loss to report this week, at least not officially. I'm getting a new scale today, though, so hopefully, I'll be able to report progress soon!
no weight down today. I am still under my calorie intake for the day and worked out 45 minutes on the elliptical. so I'm happy! how was everybody else's day?!

I met my first mini-goal today. I weighed in UNDER 200 lbs!
I'm now at 199 which puts me 10 lbs from my St. Pat's goal of under 190. I can do this!
I also overcame a pretty big hurdle (for me) yesterday. Due to some circumstances beyond my control I got very little sleep on Sunday night (about an hour and a half) and normally I will eat myself awake to get me through the day but yesterday I more than stayed on plan and did so quite easily. I was very pleased.
Good Morning! I'm down two pounds today so just 18 more before I hit my goal!
Going to now exercise for 45 minutes before going to class until 8:30 pm. Long day ahead!! Have a good day everybody!
Today is going great. Got my workout in this morning and will be doing cardio after I get off work. Since I measure in inches, I won't be giving a status report until Friday evening or Saturday morning. Looking forward to so good stats because I'm hitting it hard.
Is anyone excited about this challenge or is it just me. I love having something to look forward to and seeing results of pushing myself. I wish I had started this the day after I had the baby two years ago.
And I am also very excited about this challenge. There is nothing in my way but ME and I am steadily pushing myself into gear. I only weigh once a week... so no scale progress, but I was within my calorie budget yesterday. And today is looking like more of the same!
Really ready to start exercising again. Will adopt Nike's "Just Do It" until I can find the 'want to' in myself. No more excuses!!

Congrats on the loss that's awesome!

I'm really excited about it too, jigglefree. I love pushing myself to meet goals -- especially when I get to do it with other like-minded women (and men).

I think that's a GREAT philosophy to adopt until you get the want-to.
