Default who used freedieting to get their cals?

Who has used, and been successful using freedieting for their daily cals? Did you use the fat loss column or the extreme fat loss column? Their cals seem so high I'm afraid to use them.

For every one of the dozens of calculators out there, some will work for some people and not work for others. There is no "one size fits all" calculator. Someone will say "oh, XYZ worked for me!" but it might be way, way off for almost everyone else. Every calculator is a guesstimate and probably is only accurate within a range of 800 calories or so, which is a pretty big margin of error!

The bottom line is that no calculator knows how many calories each of us needs to lose, gain, or maintain weight. We have to find that out ourselves. A calculator is useful to pick a starting numbers of calories, but from that point on we all need to customize our calories to fit our own unique metabolisms.

If you want to try the numbers you get from that particular calculator, go ahead! You really can't do any major damage in a week or two. If you don't lose or if you gain weight, well, then you have your answer that the calories are indeed too high for you. You'll never know until you try. Finding the right calorie level is all a matter of experimentation and the answer is going to be different for each of us.
